    True.

What's wrong with the 5% Nation anyway ?
Tom Cruise and John Travolta etc. are Scientologist.

    Well, they're all crackpots.
But Scientology seems a bit more sinister. Very secretive, very powerful. Very slick, professional.

I daresay Jay Z and other mainstream mega-star hip-hoppers moved on from the "Five Percenters" sometime ago and are now members of something like Scientology or a Satanic cult. Even Louis Farrakhan sold himself to Scientology (true). There's a hierarchy of cults.
5% Nation seems more like a ghetto-community-based thing. The rappers start off there maybe, but when they get to Jay-Z's level they're in with the big-time, moved on to something heavier.

    Probably Illuminati-level freemasonry by now.

Wtf are you talking about? There is such thing as being qualified for Medicaid on the basis of being "medically needy." He could likely get Medicare due to disability.

You are unfamiliar with independent contracting if you think the party issuing your pay check needs to also supply your medical insurance.

Medicare/Medicaid covers almost all costs. Medicaid picks up the expenses not paid for by Medicare.

Yes and my point is its bankrupting states, on top of that covering all costs doesn't mean your getting the best possible treatment, it means your getting adequate treatment.
For acute brain injuries you would need an endless supply of money to get the best Care available

Boxing could use a labor association that offers health insurance.

Medicare is primarily for 65 and over. Medacaid is for the very low income which this boxer isn't, and wherever you got the idea, you are not getting any special treatment. And you will still have costs to cover as the gov programs do not cover all costs especially for this sort of treatment. Add to that the fact that many of the state Medicare/Medicaid insurers will refuse expensive treatments and medicines, etc. If this system worked, we'd all be on it roflmao.

The thing that irks me about this thread is that these threatening injuries come with boxing and this guy made the active choice to take on that risk. Where's the self responsibility? And by the images, his family looks pretty well off lol. WTF? I'm not paying into a system that carries people who want to put their lives on the line for something that doesn't matter. If you want to do it, be a pro boxer, you should be responsible for that decision.

People with disability can get Medicare. People with exceptionally high medical expenses can qualify for Medicaid.

    He should've had disaster insurance. It's kind of a no-brainer if you're a boxer.
