Why are you pushing these 2 fights so hard?

Charlo has beaten nobody @ 160 , he has just moved up and hasnt adjusted to the weight yet, nobody wants that pathetic excuse for a defeat.

Murata is a lot more physically imposing than Charlo, has Olympic pedigree and can attract a huge domestic audience that makes money.

Murata is obviously the bigger fight, hands down.

Neither should be next though, plenty of better fights out there if you ask me. Heck I don't even think Canelo should be next, Jacobs was more deserving of a rematch if you ask me.

Jarrett Hurd should get a GGG fight ahead of Charlo. Jarrett nearly killed and retired Trout, Jermall arguably lost to Trout

I think either are good choices. I'd rather see Charlo and GGG go in but Murat makes more sense at this time. Canelo should be the next fight for GGG but it doesn't look like Alvarez is eager to do the rematch at this point

...Do you really not understand why your argument is terrible? Look, there are two things that matter right now for Golovkin: legacy and money. As far as legacy, the guys that will help with that are the winner of Lem/Saunders (all of the belts) and Canelo (p4p fighter). For money it is guys with big fanbases in the area they have a huge fanbase. That's Canelo and Murata. Charlo is a good fighter and would be a good name on Golovkin's resume, but so would Murata. I want both fights to happen, but to intentionally ignore what Murata brings to the table is silly. He is an olympic gold medalist. ****, that's a story right there. Silver medalist vs Gold medalist in the Gold medalist's home country in a major fight for multiple world titles.

You're not explaining anything new to me that I haven't touched on over the last two years.. This was is about fanbase.. I think in the US Charlo is more known, in Japan obviously it's Murata but to become a crossover star you need exposure here in the states, and like I said before... Murata is unknown. Sure he's a gold medalist and the fight would be huge in Japan, but I doubt it would do bigger ratings here in the states more so than a Charlo fight.

...It would do more money overall because worldwide Murata is a bigger name.

I wouldn't argue that but they're(Charlo twins) both network fighters here in the states so they're both more known than Murata that s for sure.

Next as in next after Canelo, then the winner of BJS vs Lemieux for all the marbles, then Derevyachenko who is GGG's other mandatory and an actual career MW and didn't earn his shot by beating a cripple who was so incapacitated by his injury he was literally moving round the ring like he had 2 pegs legs. The GGG haters crucified him for facing LMWs moving up but now they're demanding he face one who has only beaten a crippled invalid at the weight. GGG had to go through hell and wait forever for his chance even though he'd been by far the most deserving candidate at the weight for years. And instead of devoting any energy to criticizing all the fighters at MW who ducked and avoided him all throughout that time, many of the same clowns who are demanding he face Jernallo and already accusing him of ducking him actually crucified GGG for being ducked and denied his opportunity.

Jermallo can wait his turn, if A-side GGG decides to even grant him a shot that is. And Jermallo can keep his mouth switched to off while he waits too. Sit in the corner and do as your told like a good boy. The only reason this weight bully has moved up is because GGG has aged and is not looking so indestructable as before. Same goes for Boo Boo, since GGG has looked more human he's suddenly decided it's time to move up.

As for GGG vs Murata that would be great. Olympic gold medalist/World Amateur silver medalist vs Olympic silver medalist/World Amateur gold medalist. It would be a huge fight for the continent of Asia too and massive in Japan. It would obviously mean a huge payday for GGG too.
