Bottom line. The stoppage was shitty but I don't think Takam had any chance of making a comeback. He landed a lot of good shots throughout the fight and couldn't buckle Joshua. He couldn't bring it. But Joshua WAS very easy to hit tonight. I guess it's time we acknowledge that he's not some terminator and that guys like Wilder and Povetkin do have a very good chance of sparking him out.
Povetkin does. Once Joshua’s **** gas tank takes effect... Alexander will be on him like white on rice.
Povetikin is a pure Russian cheat and if he was clean then he ends up like he was in the Wlad fight where he for once pissed clean because he had too. It's crazy to think that povetikin did better against Takam roided up to the nines, so that means he beats Joshua. I could say Joshua beat Wlad, but it's nonsense.
I love Wlad but he should have been DQed in that fight, every time Povetkin stepped forward, Wlad hugged and pushed him, literally every single time.
Anybody who thought he was some unbeatable terminator had just bought into the hype. Joshua started boxing late and hasn't had many fights or even rounds as a pro yet. He is still a work in progress, albeit a very formidable one already. He's still the #1 heavyweight in the world right now.
This was also the case for Takam against Povetkin. Takam has a good skill set, but at the heavyweight division you either need some power or a way to drain the steam out of a guy's punches. Takam made Joshua miss, but not enough.
