I'm a moderator and a RBR guy, that's it, I'm not a leader, or director, or composer or a ventriloquist, or a ****ing field marshall everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and I do NOTHING to curtail that. There's no change in tone or tenor, its all in your head, coupled with the fact that Mayweather has retired and Pacquiao might as well be. So a lot of the casuals have fled. You're being a little crybaby *****, there was no need to take a crack at me, if my opinion is so offensive to you that you're willing to stop posting, there's a simple remedy to that, put me on ignore, what the **** is wrong with you? Are you a sensitive little snowflake? Grow up.

I did and said nothing to you, you for some strange reason felt the need to have my name come out of your mouth, what am I supposed to do? Say thanks for insulting me GB, you're awesome. Quit being a little *****, if you attack me, I'm going to attack you, don't start anything with me, and play the insulted hurt victim when I punch you back.

Hearns owes Takham another payday for this gutsy effort. I'm thinking Chisora, or the winner Bellew vs. Haye II. Or Whyte!

Nah, just the choice of terminology is revealing.

Listen, I don't have anything against you - and to be honest I don't wanna be someone getting in an online fight with someone. I mentioned you, as you have admitted to having an anti Joshua bias in the past, and are clearly someone who likes to proliferate their biases and will fight tooth and nail to win their argument. I get that - like I was saying, having a favourite and a narrative and stuff is part of the fun. You are a mod and so I think it sets an example - and especially when helming an RbR headlined by someone you have a bias against.
I just think people are generally very quick to disrespect and deride the boxers they don't like. It's bulls***. It's all "bums" this, or "roiding" that, or "ducking" whoever. Gah, it's so exhausting. Without these dudes we would have nothing to talk about.

Anyway, nothing against you - all posters have a right to their opinions obviously - but you know, I think your biases set a precedent on your RbR threads. Whatever.

Good fight today - Takam did well, as MANY expected. But he maybe won one round. So credit to Joshua too. Simple as.

I was going buy this fight night which is $36 here in NZ but lucky I forgot. Sounds like an easy fight for Joshua. I can see that Takam went ok throughout the 10 rounds but never really troubled Joshua.

No surprises Joshua and Whyte won. Onwards and upwards for the two.

Check my scorecard to see if I was biased, I can check my biases at the door, unlike a lot of other posters. IB is just as biased as I am about certain fighters, and he's never been afraid to let those biases be known and on his RBR's, and can be just as un-PC as I am. I'm not disrespecting anyone on this thread, I merely stated my opinion a few times inbetween scoring the matches lopsidedly for Whyte and AJ.

As far as I go, I try to avoid calling people bums unless I'm having a bad day, I can't stand that either, but if I think someone is roiding or ducking, if its applicable, I'll mention that, because sometimes, its obvious people are ducking or roiding.

Yeah Takam did well, and I was one of the guys that expected him to, after all I was the most liked response on the why was Takam given this match thread. All I said was the stoppage was bull****, because it was, and that AJ looked robotic and stiff again tonight, and he did.

Chill out dude, it'll all be okay. Like you said, its just opinions, and everyone is entitled to one. And for the record I have nothing against you either.

Joshua won the fight and nearly all the rounds, yes; but it was far from being easy for him.

I was suprised that Takam had so much success on the backfoot, he didn't win most of the rounds, but landed some nice shots and made Joshua miss.

That's not the point. Every passing minute after the 6th, 7th round is having a big toll on the 254lb Joshua. Who knows what could have happened in the last two rounds. AJ would have had nothing left at all in those rounds.

It wouldn't even be remotely close imo. The movements and feints alone.

This forum will teach you heaps about boxing. If its stopped in the 10th round, then its a 10 round stoppage. Always has been in boxing :)

Theres been knockouts in the first 10 seconds of the first round in boxing, what does it make those? Zero round KO?

I think Carlos 'Pretty Boy' Takam vs 'Slick' Andy Ruiz should be a Heavyweight fight to make for the first half of 2018. Some incredible skills on offer there, and their blend of styles would make for a great fight.
