With Ward retired......the lightheavy divison elite are about to avoid eachother!

    the good news: lightheavyweight is wide open. the bad news: our good friends of the wba,wbc,ibf,wbo are gonna give the devisions elite the typical excuse to avoid eachother: a title belt.

    just take a look: kovalev will pretty soon wear the wbo belt. beterbiev will starch someone called Enrico koelling for the IBF belt. and the wba are basically handing Dimitry bivol their belt by letting him beat up some unsuspecting australian bystander named "trent broadhurst".
    and of Course there is Adonis Stevenson, the wbc holder, who has already openly declared he will never defend his belt and will take it with him to the grave.

    so basically all the really cool matchups are probably not gonna happen in the near future. if ever.

    so sad cause there is so much Talent at 175.

    Nah. Those guys actually have a backbone and will square off against each other ON A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD. Gvozdyk, Beterbiev, Kovalev... those guys aren’t avoiding ANY fights. Especially when it comes to unification fights. 175 is better, WAY BETTER now that the POS deck stacker is gone.

    im not saying that they are scared. im just saying that the sanctioning bodies are gonna make them not fight These fights.

    Andre Ward though could of done what Crawford just done at both Super middleweight and at light heavyweight.
    The division needs to somehow lose Adonis Stevenson as he's so inactive and truly only ever fights who he fancies.
    As for the rest they don't strike me as the ducking type

    They are all fighting for titles against trash well brivol and beterbiev are and they are supposed to be the best out the lot

    SOB is a cheat. Kovalev beat him in the first fight but was robbed by SOB's judges, in the rematch SOB hit Kovalev in the testicles on purpose and should have been disq., but Tony Weeks was corrupt as hell.....................never have seen a fight stopped like that, never.
