You recruit fast twitch fibres by lifting heavy, not by doing body weight exercises ffs. When you're reasonably strong doing a body weight exercise is the equivalent of lifting a light weight and wasting your time. Fast twitch fibres are the big fibres as well, if you have a high proportion of them you are going to be big and muscular regardless.
Saddens me about Fury as I came late to him anyway, only now he's gone do I see what a unique talent he was,his size and that lean back, pivot thing made it very hard for his opponents to land anything decent and then his hand speed and footwork for such a huge lump seemed to defy all boxing laws at HW. Probably not blessed in the power stakes but he was clever and I'd say 90%of the time he was cutting back on power for accuracy and just the sweet science of it all because he could. So sad that he and is sense of principles landed himself in hot water against those that you're never gonna win against. Lennox knows his boxing and said that Tyson Fury would beat AJ in fact I reckon he'd beat him nine times out of ten and I rate AJ but unlike Wlad that night Tyson Fury just wouldn't allow himself to get hit esp to the head so I have to say that as big fan of AJ I could easily see Fury winning every round just by doing what he normally does anyway lol
Joshua is today's Frank Bruno. Joshua stamina is terrible. Joshua is to muscle bound and this is why he lacks stamina. Same problem Bruno had.
Laughable people are still looking towards Tyson Fury. Some of you are living in cloud cuckoo land. Don't get me wrong, he was entertaining and a good novelty act when the division was stale, but the fact is he was a bum, always has been, his claim to fame was boring the hell out of the world in a pillow fight against Wlad, and using headbutts and rabbit punches to get him over the line. In a fight where Wlad threw his right hand an average of once a round! Then he quit like a dog, is now the size of an elephant, and somehow his legacy has moved up into the stratosphere. And let's not conveniently forget all the times Fury was hurt against even bigger bums than he was. And he lost to a cruiserweight. And by his own admission, he couldn't get near AJ when they sparred together when AJ was still a novice. AJ is where it's at now, and you lot are gonna have to suck it up for at least another 8 years.
Ive read that Ortiz' levels were close to 10X a normal 25 y/o male, when at age 34, he broke out into the mainstream with his KO1 of CW contender, Lateef Koyode. Prior to that, he has been caught ROIDING another time, and since, 2X more, most recently, testing at 3X the normal levels of a 25 y/o male, and at nearly 40. Why on earth he is still sanctioned by ANY of the ABCs is beyond my comprehension. He should be dropped from the rankings, suspended for a yr, during which he should undergo involunatary weekly drug screens, and should he be clean for the final 50 of them(first 2 will likely show residual nadrolone), then he an fight another eliminator with twice weekly random screening by VADA before and after the fight for no less than 2 weeks, JIC he was able to mask something on fightnight. And even with the dope, that baby giraffe legged, longhorn steer bodied roider would be put to sleep from the first R hand that Joshua landed on his chin.
I wholly agree that Fury's legacy is being HIGHLY overrated since his 36 minute waltz with an old, distracted, ATG in Wlad. But.....he won, fair and square, but the more focused Wlad, not having his newborn daughters life in jeopardy since his wife was on the brink..... Fury saw Wlad had recovered mentally, and then bowed out with the coke ecuse and fattened himself up like a tom turkey. Fury has become the modern day Buster Douglas. Capable of being a top 3, but lacking the discipline to crack the top 10.
Leave the sauce alone. His worst fight was vs McDermott, where he essentially fought down to Macs level and eeked out the W.
I thought you like Joshua?? I'm surprised at some of Joshuas critics as I could've sworn they were his fans or liked him at the least before this fight. I havent seen the fight entirely so thats mainly why I'm here reading everyones take on the fight (theres a crap copy on YouTube at the moment) and despite Joshua winning all the rounds, people arent happy. Us Parker fans are familiar with Takam so we strongly doubted that this wasnt going to be an easy KO win for Joshua. In saying that, Joshua got the official TKO in the 10th round and so Im a little jealous, just a little because my man Parker went the distance with Takam. However, Joshua is the real deal. I knew AJ would come through but I was quietly hoping it went the 12 rounds.
One thing that's undeniable, is the celebrity's wanting to deep throat Joshua. ****in painful some of them. Glory hunting slut's. I hope they hang about when **** gets tough !
This is just the cherry on top. I haven't been watching boxing seriously for the past year, for all the corruptness.
I'm still pretty sour on the sport as well, ever since the Kovalev-Ward fight, that killed quite a lot of my passion, then the rematch almost polished it off. As far as this being a great year for boxing, all the guys that have been retiring have been some of my favorites, so it hasn't been all that great for me.
I agree with some of this, but to claim AJ is 'lucky' due to Tyson being caught on PEDs AND being a mental case, is a bit ridiculous. Luck is throwing a aimless punch with your eyes closed it connected and KOing the person. An imbecile using and being caught with PEDs and then being a mentally fragile human being isn't luck.
