I can't understand what you're trying to justify. A 12 round fight should go 12 unless one of the fighters can't. Anything can happen in boxing, and fans (the ones who pays for this circus called boxing) deserve to see them fight as long as no one is on the canvas or unable to defend himself. You can't stop a fight because one of them is a head on the cards.
I can understand the stoppage. That fresh air was really travelling past Takam's chin from those wild AJ punches.
Takam didn't have a problem with them shots he took more shots from aj when the ref had him in a head lock it's unreal how aj and matchroom fanboys are actually trying to justify this shocking stoppage if that's OK to the fanboys then aj should have been stopped by klitschko he was in much worse trouble it's double standards
The referee was corrupt. There was no reason to stop that fight, none at all....................Tony Weeks was also corrupt when he stopped the fight, gave it to SOB for landing three low blows to the testicles in a row! Never have seen anything like it! SOB is a cheat................ This content is protected So , you have corrupt referees in both America and UK.............
That stoppage cannot be justified. I agree with what lucky luke stated in an earlier post : THERE'S A REASON THESE FIGHTS ARE 12 ROUNDS. Takam was robbed of his right to compete over the agreed distance. Takam was denied the opportunity to contest the fight in the championship rounds, an opportunity he had fairly earned.
The only punch in that last combo that landed clean was the jab. Jab- Landed Right Cross- Blocked by Takams left glove. While it knocked his head from the force, it was blocked nevertheless. Short Left- Blocked by Takam Short Right- Skimmed of Takams gloves During this exchange Takam was bobbing and evading after the 1st jab. Hence no clean shots. At this point the ref started putting his arm between the fighters ready to call it off. AJ has time to attempt another right missing completely. Ref then gets between Takam. Absolute BS. AJ whilst controlling the fight was fading and this stoppage ruined an entertaining fixture. Leaving unanswered questions... This content is protected
again alot of drama hunters on here looking for something to complain about yes it was a tad early but sometimes you got to look after the fighters health if anyone watched mike perez v Magomed Abdusalamov should know sometimes its not immediately noticeable to see if someone is getting seriously hurt magomed was landing big shots himself and the fight went to the distance and now magomed is now got brain damage for his rest of his life.
He wasn't even landing clean to do that sort of damage. Open your eyes and watch the God damn video above and you will see it was a disgusting stoppage.
