In the post interview Joshua were saying that the British fans booed because they wanted to see him finish Takum off.

I don't know about those in the arena, but many of us wanted Takum to be given the chance to beat the count and finish the fight since it was a championship fight and he had been hurt and knocked down in the 4th round before coming back and regaining his composure.

In the last round before the stoppage, Takum was still light on his feet and coming forward making the fight even more exciting before being tagged by big shots.

I think Joshua has misinterpeted those boos and this only highlights his arrogance in assuming that everything is all about him. He gave Takum no credit for saving the PPV after it being a stinker, even though Takum only had 12 days training.

The fans saw a bad stoppage and responded accordingly. Every shitty stoppage should get booed, regardless of the desired outcome. It's insulting to the fighter who's in there giving it his all and you step in when he's clearly able to continue fighting on. His health was not any more at risk at that point than it was in the previous 4-5 rounds.

Takam should of been allowed to see the final bell That fraud was gassing and takam was soaking In the pressure so he could have a late surge at the end he was denied this opportunity by the paid off ref

People booed because it was not a deserving of a stoppage

AJ is a fraud some people already knew it now everyone knows it.

What happened was another stupid British stoppage

The British boxing authorities pretend this is all about the "fighters health", but their early stoppages only ever apply to the away fighter. In previous instances where the home fighter is losing or badly injured they are always allowed to continue right until the very end. If the home fighter is on verge of being knocked unconscious they are still allowed to continue in many cases.

This is making British boxing look idiotically biased, and I think Takam could easily have seen the final bell, so it is robbing fans of seeing the full 12 rounds

Case in point, some British referees even carry the home town fighter back to their corner even when they are clearly in no state to continue.

they booed because Joshua is part english and they were welsh. They wont acept an early stoppage from someone they class as english, its only when the fighter is welsh that the think fake stoppages and being carried back to your corner by the ref is spot on.
Team Joshua made 3 mistakes -

    1. trying to sell "english" to the welsh
    2. trying to pass a weakling off as a world title defence, and giving these small potatoes to wales.
    3. perhaps getting a free pass for a soft stoppage when in wales whilst being from england. Soft stoppagers only work for the welsh if they perceive you as welsh, and certainly not if they class you as english.

There was an air of vulnerability late in the fight with AJ. I was thinking I wouldn't be surprised if he got caught with something here !

Takum also began to step it up and take the fight to AJ.

I just saw the stoppage again, it was worse than the first time I saw it. Takum actually slipped those last punches thrown by Joshua.

Obviously he's going to say that - he's a con merchant just as much as Hearn. No honesty or decent towards true boxing fans, just happy to take the dough.

This is the same story as the GGG / Canelo fight.

For some reason people always have to spin a reason for the boos other than the other fighter getting a raw deal.

    Fanboys, usually.

Welsh hooligans, it was something like medieval times in that arena. I was almost expecting the bodybuilder Joshua, to come out wearing knights armour, riding a horse.

Yes I remember Canelo lying to the fans saying he felt he won by a landslide. Lost all respect for him at that point, after admiring how he fought back valiantly in the championship rounds after being dominated for the majority of the fight.

Joshua I know is paid to act humble, however I didn't expect him not to give Takum any credit whatsoever and take his fans for simpletons.

Joshua will get beat in one of his next two fights, you can see the opposition slowly getting better and troubling him, Whyte nearly had him out, Klitschko floored him, and he was gassing bad last night, i personally think Wilder will smash him.
