Which doesnt make any sense because AJ was sparring with guys over 6ft 4 and preparing for Pulev, and because you would not deliberately sabotage a PPV like that.

What makes more sense is that they knew Pulev was never keen on the fight to begin with and there was a high risk of a late pull out.

The amount of fake and late pull outs by fighters at HW has reach epidemic proportions in the last 5 years, so it makes more sense for this reason.

Parker was crazy to not have a live stand in for Hughie when they were due to meet in NZ. Fighting his sparring partner definitely back fired on him.

 

like the ref carrying cleverly to his corner in the kovalev fight. had cleverly even momentarily stunned kovalev, the fight would have been stopped.

I think Joshua is right to an extent, some wanted Joshua to finish the fight properly, they wanted Takkam flat out on the floor, some just thought the stoppage was pure bull ****, which it was. Some started boo'ing for their reason, some others boo'd for their reason.

I was pissed cuz it was a bad stoppage, Takkam was losing big and was hurt but he was competitive and making it real hard for AJ. As a fan ive seen Joshua knocking them out easy plenty, these are the kind of fights i want to see him in now, as a fan of Boxing i think Takkam was guna see it through till the end and when a Boxer loses he tries to take some positives from it and being the 1st to take Joshua the full distance would of been his positive, other than the money ofcourse. The crappy British stoppage robbed him of that and he was on his way to earning it.

 

Do you personally know the man? I don't think it's right to judge a person, especially so harshly, when you know so little about them. That's not very nice either.

Yeah he sold drugs, and he's no saint, but the lowest of the low? Lower than rapists, paedophiles and contract killers? I don't think the final result was in doubt but Takam had earned the opportunity to try and hear the final bell and was in no more danger at that point than in any other moment of the fight.

I think the ref was desperate to stop the fight as soon as that cut appeared but knew how poorly it would've been received so let Takam box on until he had an excuse later in the fight to stop it

You said the words "lowest of the low", I assume you have the intelligence to understand what that collection of four words means, right? By definition it means impossible to be lower than. That logically implies that you consider drug dealers either on par with or worse than rapists and paedophiles etc. Which is a ludicrous implication, hence why I called you out on your choice of words.

It's genuinely relieving for you to reassure me that you believe it's possible to sink lower than selling drugs, it means you aren't the morally inept moron I thought you were 10 minutes ago (congratulations). He's not really wrong - the fans wanted to see a proper KO and one guy put down for the count, and most in attendence wanted it to be Takam - but he's not really right either - fans know a premature stoppage when they see one.
