    Clearly Dempsey.

    Rock had tremendously heavy hands and generated a ton of torque into his shots, but Dempsey was faster & more explosive.

    Dempsey, I will say though that Marciano did look plenty fast when he let his hands go at mid range.

    Dempsey. But if I had a choice in the matter I'd rather get KO'd quick by Rocky than pummeled by Dempsey.

    Dempsey would stop you faster, look at the way Marciano battered Cockell, Louis, Charles, and Moore.
