Possibly, but if his chin is decent, it may only need to hold up for 2 or 3 rounds for him to land his KO punch.

To me they have at least as good a chance as all the current active/clean HWs except perhaps Wilder. None of the other top heavyweights are that impressive physically anyway and they sure don't have the skills of a Usyk or Gassiev, the latter of which will grow into a decent sized 6'4 / 230 lb HW.

Where's all this hate your speaking of? I'm asking a ****ing question, and all I'm getting is hysterical fanboy, HOW DARE YOU????? reactions. I don't thjink AJ is unbeatable, and that WIlder, Ortiz, Parker Fury, Usyk and possibly Gassiev would all be tough fights, and victory for AJ is not guaranteed. BECAUSE IT'S NOT. Where is the hate?

And stop violating the word filter.

Where is all this attacking? Thinking fighters can beat the man is not attacking him. Get a grip.

True to be fair after wilder and AJ the next best guys for me are Ortiz and Parker and neither of them are huge.
I just think Gassiev is so crude, yes he has a power and a chin but the guys that gave Wilder problems was Spilka who was an awkward, southpaw but didn’t have the chin and Washington who was very tall and has a good jab. Gassiev has neither of those things for me. Usyk at least brings and silky southpaw style, I don’t know if he has the chin to withstand the right hand though.

Did I tip all of those fighters to beat AJ? No, I picked Fury and Usyk to beat him, that's all.

As far as Wlad goes, they'd all have a chance, yeah, especially Fury, since he already beat him. But less of one than they'd have against AJ, styles make fights, and Wlad and Fury are both tougher styles for most HW's than AJ is.

I think we'll see a good deal more about Gassiev and his skills in this next year when he faces Dorticos and possibly Usyk afterwards. You're right that he'll need to have excellent skills to have a chance. Personally I think his skills are underrated and are better than most of the top HWs, but fighting Dorticos and Usyk ought to give us more of a clue.

I've no problem with you picking certain guys to beat AJ but to say that Joshua vs Gassiev is a 50/50 fight is a bit far fetched.

Give Gassiev time and he will be able to knock Joshua out, but he is still a cruiserweight at this time..............
