Ive got Lewis by stoppage inside 6 rounds. Frazier is a slow starter, has slow feet and is only really dangerous with the left hook. Not enough dimension to beat Lewis any other way than to catch him pulling back with a hook. Too slow to pull it off fast enough before Lewis takes his head off.

Lewis is dangerous with pretty much every punch, better puncher, better defense, very smart. He wont underestimate frazier and really only has to watch for one shot.
Every time Frazier ducks down Lewis will protect his head with his right and either step in and lean on him or push his head down with his left and take a step to the left away from the hook that frazier will try come up with. There is nothing he can do about it because his feet are too slow.

When frazier misses a hook he will be punished with the left uppercut that buckled tysons legs. He doesnt have a quick straight right to stop that either.

I see it as a complete mismatch and a slaughter

At the risk of the classic forum wrath... I think Frazier does Lewis. I said it. Lewis gets knocked out cold. I'll sometimes go with size. But not here. Hook to the chin. Lennox on his back.

If Rahman can KO Lewis cold, so can Joe.

But I'm picking Lennox in this one. Better IQ, bigger man, better overall power, more tools etc.

Frazier, by decision or late stoppage I guess.
Lewis would try to keep it at range and box on the backfoot - and against most men of Frazier's style and size that would be the right approach. But Frazier in his prime was really relentless and had such great stamina.

Tbh i think he would do the opposite. Everytime frazier ducks he should step in and smother the hook and lean on his back. I see him pushing back and rapidly wearing out and then stopping frazier because he really only needs to watch for one punch, the hook.

Too small to press a puncher like Lewis.

FOTC Frazier by TKO...you would've had to kill Joe on that night in 1971 to beat him...

    He's as big as Tua.
Lewis played that whole 12 rounds on the backfoot, more or less.

Depends on the ref and both fighters condition.

A ref like kenny bayless would allow lennox to jab and grab frazier to death by late stoppage or wide ud a la ali/frazier 2.

Focused prime frazier vs lazy lethargic lewis (rahman 1 & mccall 1, vitali)? It would be an ugly fight, especially if he is penalized for excessive holding and leaning. Unless lennox managed to land a bomb and stop frazier, he would get his ass kicked.

Prime frazier vs prime lennox? Lennox by ko via brutal uppercuts within 6. It would be highly entertaining while it lastes.

No need to elaborate on a past it frazier vs any version of lewis.

That jaw took all Vitali's right hands, do you think Frazier could?

No he 's f*cking not! That is absolute bollocks! 23 years old Tua was 225lbs for Ruiz,24 years old Frazier was 204lbs for Chuvalo.Tua is a good 20lbs heavier and bigger in the body in every way. Lewis fought smart against Tua , he had that ability. Frazier was a one trick pony, like one of those clockwork mice. Wind him up, and put him on the floor and he keeps going forward into the skirting board, knock him down and he gets up and does it again, he never had any strategy or plan B because his physical limitations precluded them.
