So in light of recent title fights, who wins, and how?

    Takam.

This is an awful version of Stiverne and we'll see that this weekend.

Takam, Stevierne only has more power.

Takam has better defense, footwork, work rate, youth, virtually everything is on Takam's side.

Right now? Takam easy UD. Stiverne's sole advantage is power but he was woeful against Rossy and he won't have gotten any better with two years of ring rust.

Prime for prime would be more competitive but I'd still favour Takam to win a decision, he's simply more skilled and the combined effectiveness of his upper body movement and punch resistance would neutralise Stiverne's extra power.

Stiverne is an insult to the fans of Deontay

He has been inactive for almost 2 years and his last fight involved him being floored and sneaking a UD over Rossy.

This is about as low as Deontay has gone since he purchased the strap from the WBC back in 2015.

Takam stops this version of Stiverne mid rounds.

Stiverne is shot to ****, far too inactive and his conditioning has always been questionable at best. Stiverne and Takam are chalk and cheese when it comes to dedication and preparation, so definately Takum and likely by UD

Takam beats him for sure. Late stoppage or a wide UD.

Takam wins comfortably. Crazy how 40-year old Mr. DroppedByRossy is going to step in the ring with Wilder after two years of inactivity. Wouldn't be surprised if he has been attending Scuba Scott's Diving School.

Stiverne. Takam's lack of power and stamina always lets him down against good competition. When Takam runs out of gas Stiverne will counter him and knock him out with a straight right or uppercut. Takam couldn't even hurt Povetkin or Joshua and crumbled in the late rounds.

Tough to say since we haven't seen Stiverne in a while. I'd ride with Takam here... It is not defending or promoting Wilder as many agenda-promoting-posters think for me to say I think Stiverne is better than given credit for on this forum. He's not the single worst alphabet HW title holder of the last few years. I think he can fight and has showed some skills, relative to what he is.

    Takam
It's only 5 caracters, why mess that up?

Takam is a much better boxer, certainly as the version of Stiverne we've seen 2 years ago (his latest fight).

I'd expect BS to fully able to beat Takam.
I think we're going to see a much better BS next weekend. The best BS that can be since her knows this is by far his most important fight off his career.

The first DW fight wasn't career threatening if he lost but losing again will pretty much end any big $$$ fights.

That was the best Takam there was last weekend and I was very unimpressed. BS will be much better next weekend and it will have nothing to do with the level of Aj and Dw.

Both are far better than these opponents, BS at least will lay it all out, something Takam refused to even attempt. Unless Aj's jab and pressure crumbled him immediately.

Idk, maybe Takam and BS could fight each other on one of the belt holders coming fights. I think I have to watch takam vs parker. If that fight was close to as close as some claim I'll have to write parker off even more

Takam refused to attempt fighting with AJ because he recognized after the first exchange of punches that he has no chance, so he played it safe and did a really good job surviving but really nothing more, he only survived but took
a hell of a beating, the fight was never even remotely competitive despite what some people think they have seen.

Takam's movement and superior defence will be the difference. Both men prefer to counter but because Stiverne is so flat footed and easier to hit he'll find himself out boxed. Takam wins a decision.
