I'm definitely no fanboy either, far to long in the tooth for all that BS, I was watching Hagler hand Minters ass to him as a young kid and have loved boxing ever since. AJ is the top man in the division but, I see Wilder as a huge threat when the fight gets made. I've shat all over Wilders resume and online cobblers but, I do realise that he can punch and he could derail the AJ gravy train in the first round.

I do however think that the criticism piled on AJ since Saturday has been verging on the ridiculous. So many haters and so called boxing fans with an agenda basically get on my tits. Objective criticism is all well and good and makes the world go round but in this social media age it tends to go beyond the pale

Parker is right to throw his hat in the ring. Make himself a lot of dough the young man and who knows if Femi' s chin holds up to a Kiwi sledgehammer.

Good on Parker for having that mind set. We'll see what happens when he actually gets in the ring with Joshua though.

    Takam wasn't getting 50/50

Yeah I feel you but it gets like this when someone is a big name, the fan boys go crazy when they get a big win, and when don’t look as impressive the haters go crazy the other way. I think AJ and Wilder is a 50/50 right now I would favour AJ slightly, I think AJ ices Parker, Povetkin, Pulev and probably Ortiz but it depends which Ortiz turns up.

He still made them multi millionaires, any of these guys asking for 50/50 are deluded. Take 35% if you can get it and fight for the big opportunity.

I'd have to take the time to really watch his last few fights to see what he's all about. I'm not sure if parker is a early stoppage, mid or late.

If the guy who dominated and won every round against Takam is average, what is the guy who really struggled and lost 4 or 5 rounds to Takam, he must be garbage then.

Nobody is unbeatable, in anything. Of course Aj is beatable, but he's beatable by only certain fighters with the right skill and has what it takes to not only dish it but take it, taking it is the greatest attribute when one truly has it.

Taking it is not just being able to take big shots and be very durable. Taking it truly is being able to use your talents while hurt, being able to think your way out of trouble and thinking your way into winning fights where you're struggling.

Aj has that which is a great attribute, it's truly what separates the very good to the great.

I don't see him as great. He is a basic boxer with good size and power in a very very weak division.

Speaking of taking it, Parker has the best chin in the division. Never wobbled in the sparring, amateurs or pro, let alone knocked out. Wilder and Joshua have. Just thought that deserves a mention.

The only thing factual about my post and your reply, is my post has actually happened, your one is conjecture.

To be fair Parker hasnt faced a big puncher in the division so whilst I think he has a solid chin we would have to wait to see him take a big shot from a puncher first.

Its the heavyweight division, one punch is all it takes. Parkers fighting at elite level obviously, they all hit hard and he has held his own quite well so far. Earlier in his career, he sparred Klitschko who normally hurts people even in sparring and he did well there too but it is sparring but then again people get dropped in sparring.
