Jacobs has actually got a fight lined up? Thought he was going to take the rest of the year off and live of the achievement of giving Golovkin a close fight and telling everyone who'll listen that he won.

Still, can't see Arias giving him much trouble.

Arias is going to look like a fool if he loses to Jacobs after all the trash he talked.

Luis Arias needs to shut the **** up, okay buddy you beat Arif Magomedov by stoppage, good for you, you have a guy with a scary sounding name on your resume, who came within a butt whisker of getting KTFO by Andrew Hernandez. And we're all supposed to be impressed by that why?

Jacobs will fight Arias because Arias can't fight at all and has zero chance which is the reason he is fighting him. Jacobs should have fought Charlo, then if he wins it would mean something, a win over Arias is a joke!

Arias isn't bad, don't really see a problem with it. Jacobs is coming back off of a loss so I wouldn't expect him to jump straight in with Charlo.

What are your thoughts on Kovalev Shabranskyy?

I don't really want to see Kov-Shabranskyy myself and I think that it is kind of silly that Slava is getting a shot at the vacated belt. Kovalev-Barrera would have made a ton more sense, but it's boxing and these things happen.

Arias isn't bad (but he isn't great either) and I expect him to give Jacobs some problems. It is a shame that this is Arias' first big fight though because that is going to be a huge factor. This is going to be like Ward-Barrera and I expect Arias' career to have the same progress afterwards as Barrera's did.

Arias isn't ready for Jacobs and Jacobs should clean him up but he seems like an exciting prospect.

Looks like he has a bit of skill and power but doesn't have the experience to beat Jacobs.

Arias has a punchers chance, thats about it. Arias should have taken a Centeno Jr, Khytrov or Aleem type fight. That Arif bloke is too many levels below Jacobs it isn't funny.
