Jackson was a huge puncher but benn hit harder at middle weight.pity a fight didn't happen would of been incredible.Benn in a fire fight.
Phew ...tough call. Benn couldn't stay on the outside so I can't see him not getting tagged by JJ. One touch from JJ & Benn is toast imo
Very tough call. I voted for Benn. He basically beat Gerald McClellan to death (luckily, he was saved by surgeons). Julian Jackson was one of my favorite fighters and one of the great punchers ever. He certainly has more highlight reel KOs. I could easily be persuaded to vote for Jackson. Golovkin is probably the most skilled of all of them. But I don't consider him a puncher like those guys were. Again, Golovkin is a great puncher. But he never wiped out someone like Iran Barkley in a round.
Its very close between Jackson, Mclellan and Benn with GGG some way behind. I seem to recall Jackson rendering more opponents unconscious with single punch ko's than anyone else I've ever seen. McClellan's accuracy was frightening and a real sharpshooter, while Benns technique was poor compared to the other two, his sheer aggression compensated for it with him throwing his whole body into those hooks. GGG is more of a accumulative, break his opponents down kind of guy.
Jackson had one punch knockout power, but had no chin or stamina. Golovkin has very hard punches, not just the right hand, he had the jab, power jab, right hand, left hook, rock chin, stamina, better boxing skills, so it's not just one punch knockout power, he wears you down, but El Pollo and Jacobs ran like Hell!
No I never have, I only watch GGG why would I watch fighters who lose to journeymen like McClellan did? Infact I don't even know who they are....what's their names again?
