Joshua Kelly Born March 7th 1994 is a 5'10 Welterweight with a 4-0 3 KO's record. Born in and fighting out of Sunderland, Tyne and War, United Kingdom. This strikingly handsome 2016 Rio Olympian the moment he turned pro was immediately scooped up and taken under the black wings of the Dark Lord himself Mr. Adam Booth, and what a shock, signed by the next Bob Arum, Fast Eddie Hearn, who seems to be signing every fighter that's worth a damn in sight, they were both probably licking their chops salivating in anticipation to get their hands on him, and mold him into the Next Big Thing. They clearly have high hopes, after all Hearn bestowed upon him the unenviable moniker of Pretty Boy, that's a hell of a high standard to live up to, so don't even start comparing him to Money May. After the Olympics, he wasn't sure if he even wanted to turn pro, he had a few injuries, and while nursing them, he plumped up to a Light Heavyweight, so his dad had to gave him a kick in the ass and told him to follow his dreams or he may regret it, prompting him to turn pro. Although he probably should have milked his other career as a male model for a little longer, it'll probably be hard to fall back on after a few years in this brutal sport takes a toll on his good looks. But lucky for us, he chose Boxing, and depending on how good his chin is, he may be a fixture for years to come, because he definitely has the skills to hang, and that's apparent already, with only a few fights under his belt. He's like a hybrid of Sergio Martinez, Joe Calzaghe, Josh Taylor and Paulie Malignaggi, a little bit of the cockiness and styles of all of them, he fights with his hands down reminiscent of Sexy Sergio, has the fast hands of Calzaghe and Paulie, and a similar overall skillset of the brilliant Josh Taylor. He puts his combinations together well, has exceptional footwork, good head movement, with that style he needs it, and lands some absolutely beautiful hooks, especially that left hook, which at times he lands in rapid fire succession, 5 or 6 times in a row. His good looks, winning personality, flashy style all basically ensure he'll be a superstar, let's just hope they don't rush him and he's packing some fine British Steel in that mandible of his, and voila, he's the next big thing. Even though he is a Pretty Boy, personally I'd have gone with Machine Gun Kelly, it fits, like Pretty Boy Floyd, its the name of a real gangster, and there's less pressure on him with it. Check Out Joshua In Action.:ggg:ggg:ggg:ggg

    He looks the part.

The Zuninga fight was another of those "save from further punishment", "better safe than sorry" stoppages while nothing even major had happened yet, but his handspeed, accuracy and reflexes look very good.

Your description of him was spot on, the mix of boxers he reminds you of. That jab though! Punches through the target, heavy, doesn't let it linger too long to get countered. His footwork is really good. Punches in angles and that's why his shots looks heavy, catches others off guard. Offensive minded, quick and athletic. A bit open to the counter right, but he sees it and moves his head accordingly. Impressive in those videos. Thanks for the good post.

Accident waiting to happen imo. He's always got a career in modelling once he gets starched.
