    No, we can't.

Trinidad brutalized and beat down every 160lb'er he faced not named Hopkins. And even Bernard respected Tito's presence in the ring. The notion that Canelo is somehow more "sturdy" than Trinidad is ridiculous...

Trinidad consistently fought the better opposition.

I think GGG would be favored over all but Jones and Hopkins. Which have intrigue.

Toney just dont have the stamina at MW. McCallum was old and past it as a MW without power, I think Nunn was too fragile.

Let’s be real. Alvarez wasn’t a welterweight and he was a big JR Middleweight that should have been fighting at 160. Canelo for years struggled to shrink down to 154 and always had a massive weight advantage over his opponents at 154. Plus....the draw he was gifted against Golovkin was viewed by almost everyone as a robbery.

    WBO?

And you still haven't answered the question.

Who did Bumlovkin beat to earn the distinction as Lineal champion?

Kovalev was a good win for Ward. But both fights were close and competitive, respectively. The first fight was controversial but it was split pretty evenly as to who the public thought won that fight.

Kovalev really didn’t beat anyone outside of Hopkins at the very end of his legendary career that stands out. He beat the crop of Light heavyweights and pretty much cleaned out the division but what really made Sergey such a great win outside of having longevity and consistency as the LHW champion?

WBO? It’s the title that holds the least value in Boxing. WBC, WBA and IBF are the 3 titles that mean the most as boxing champions. He earned the lineal title by cleaning out the division. Cotto held that lineal title for a little while by beating Martinez who won that title from Kelly, who won that from Taylor. By beating Alvarez there’s no question GGG is the lineal middleweight champion even though he didn’t hold it at that time.

You make it sound as though Tito beat a who’s who of middleweight royalty. He beat down Joppy....that’s pretty much it. You can throw in Cherifi if you want. He never really established himself as a true Middleweight

Who did Bumlovkin beat to earn the distinction as the lineal champ @ 160? I don't need any damned videos. A simple name will do...
