That's a shame. Hopefully he doesn't suffer anymore setbacks, since he isn't getting any younger.

I think Whyte probably hits in the same vicinity as them, they are a little overrated too. The thing is they are far quicker than him and held a huge speed advantage against Breazeale. Whyte is a tough plodder like Breazeale, I'd say Whyte might have a small speed advantage in that one but it's marginal.

I think Breazeale holds a few advantages against Whyte, he is much taller and longer, he has more power and I think he is tougher too. Whyte is probably a slightly better mover, quicker hands and a bit more slick/technical.

Whyte vs Breazeale is a true 50/50

And rightfully so. Whyte's pretty average but Molina is poor in pretty much every department and should never have been considered for a title eliminator. I suppose that's the WBC for you.

I would care if Whyte was actually a high quality fighter. But there doesn't seem too much separating he and Brezeale, honestly. Brezeale might be better. People are acting like Whyte is an established force in the division. Get out of here. If he wasn't British or hadn't fought Joshua already and lost, people would be saying that he being Wilders' mandatory is the WBC and Haymon Protection Services at their best.

Whyte is British and the WBC really want a American champion.. They obviously feel that it is best for their belt to stay in America so Whyte won't get a shot any time soon..

    Sadly AJ won't either...

How else would you explain Whyte not becoming mandatory??? It is irrelevant how **** Whyte is he is currently the no 3 ranking with the no 1 fighting now and the no 2 out suspended...

He should be getting next shot period..

I was hoping Breazeale took the Whyte fight instead of Helenius I definitely would have had money on Breazeale to win. If I'm Wilder I take the 4 million to fight Whyte next easy money for Wilder.

So it seems that the WBC have changed their minds under pressure and the winner of Breazeale-Molina will not be Wilder's immediate mandatory. Likely the winner will have to win another fight against Whyte to become the mandatory.

yes! Eddie up to his sneaky old tricks again. I hope he gets Whyte that mandatory position, so Wilder can tremble.

Haymon will not allow Wilder to go near Whyte, Takam, Povetkin, Ortiz, Ruiz, Sirenko ad infinitum!

Wilder seems to be scared to fight Whyte for some reason. Wilder used Ortiz to trick Showtime into showing his pathetic fight tonight. I think Ortiz was set up by the WBC. Ortiz was a idiot for falling for it. Now Wilder and Joshua gets to duck Ortiz because his punching power is a risk to both of them. Heavyweight boxing is a joke now.
