He's left Joe G to 'rejuvenate' his career - yet to me he has been incredibly inactive and in the couple of fights he's had post-Frampton he has, if anything, dis-improved. Thoughts?

Quigg is a good man an absolute gym rat, and I like his style, I thought he was with roach. I've always thought he could beat frMpton with the right game plan, not the Gallagher gameplan

But the way he is looking since leaving Gallagher and going to roach, it's beginning to look like Joe G might not have been so bad after all. He hasn't improved with roach....his two fights with roach ...since leaving joe G...have been poorer performances than he was turning in with Joe Gallagher IMO.
Roach hasn't improved him at all. If anything he's regressed. He needs an impressive win this time. I hope he can deliver and get some momentum going.

I can't remember a single thing Quigg has done since the Frampton fight.

Think quigg was on ifl last night saying the moves going well. Said the stuff they ve been working on in the gyms now coming natural to him as opposed to having to think about it too much in the 2 or 3 fights he' s had since the move. Would maybe explain the performances of not being overly impressive.

Who knows how it,ll work out tho. Bit of a weird move for Scott...the type of personality he has there's always a danger he gets a bit taking advantage of out there. Pretty sure the sparring in the wild cards meant to be tremendous but how much does that take out of you. We,ve heard of Freddy's success,s but what about the guys that were,t so successul. Brave move from Scott...think well find out a bit more tonight.

I like Quigg and know he’s not the best of public speakers but that Interview worried me as he sounded a little punchy. I hope it’s not the start of something much worse, not helped in last two fights as been blocking punches with his face.

I always find it hard to tell with quigg...as he always seems a bit punchy to me. Think it could just be his personality tho. But who knows...no sure the sparring out there will do you any good in the long run. Hopefully he does well tonight tho. Good fighter quigg. Could be one of them tho that the more you try to develop him the worse/less effective he gets.

Think Scotts biggest strength was on the scales...came into the ring a good bit stronger than most opponents...but with going up in weight that gets evened out a bit. Probably why the last few have been a bit harder than expected as well.

Frampton got found out the night he beat Quigg....Quigg was given the wrong tactics yet still nearly won with a broken jaw.....Quigg wins the rematch if it was to ever happen.

Frampton will end out his career feasting on bums via FW....especially after being outboxed by a supposed brawler in LSC and this was after years of ducking Rigondeaux.

The last time I watched him he was just brawling like a drunk on a Saturday night, no skills what so ever.

This is a ridiculous post. How exactly did Frampton get found out? He won convincingly and broke Quiggs jaw. He tired towards the end and Quigg rallied. If Quigg came out swinging early, a fresh Frampton would have done more than break his jaw. He likely would have sparked him out.

LSC was known as a brawler, but he showed in the second fight he's an excellent boxer, using every inch of his significant height advantage. LSC completely changed his style and it caught Frampton by surprise. He won rounds in the fight too, hardly like LSC took his soul. You're needlessly being disrespectful to both Frampton and LSC in your assessment, two fantastic boxers.

The whole boxing world ducked Rigondeaux. Doesn't make it right, but why single out Frampton? Quigg and LSC also ducked Rigo, not to mention many others.

Quigg is a good lad and a decent fighter, but if you think he'd beat Carl in a rematch, you're wearing rose tinted glasses.

I think you are looking too much into things, Scott has recovered from broken jaw, moved up in weight and also changed his coaches. One of these things would be hard to get right in two fights so if he feels things are right in the gym it might just take another fight or two to make everything click and it all comes together at once.
