The guy said he's had perfect training camp this time. Yet at 6'2'' he showed 2nd biggest weight of his career at 254.8 lbs. That's more than tall athletic SHWs like Wlad, Vitali or AJ weighed in any of their fights. What's wrong with this guy? He's just a fan of Burger King or simply doesn't like to train?
Do his trainers say he had a perfect training camp or just him? A perfect day at work for my employers is maximum productivity with no issues, a perfect day at work for me is access to their WIFI, hardly any work to do and a Blowwy off the cleaner.
lifestyle and discipline it'll only get worse for him as his metabolism slows down... i'm 50 next month, 6'4", and nobody eats more than me - but i'm also a cardio machine and I've educated myself on nutrition (best investment you will ever make) people define what is their 'normal', and it really isn't a big deal to condition the way you live to improve your life if you really want it I still eat burgers, chinese, chocolate when I feel like it, but I never crave them, and I know that I will burn off everything that I eat
there is something facinating about a man who makes a good living from being a sportsman, yet is practically morbidly obese. and also not particularly good at boxing. I mean, what is he doing? because he isnt training, he simply cannot be... can he? And that is basically the one and only thing he needs to do with his time. I just cant get my head around it. HW boxing truely is on another level for the shear amount of lazy fat men who are stealing a very very good living. He shouldnt really be allowed to fight in all honesty, just look at the state of him. an embarrasment. but i guess if people are going to pay him, then fair play to him. just hope he doesnt get badly hurt, pretty suicidal turning up to fight someone when you arent prepared in any way at all.
Love the way a lot of websites are trying to spin this as stiverne having a weight advantage . really? Its usually an advantage when you weigh more and are bigger and more muscular. Its not an advantage when your morbidly obese. You don't look at Dustin Nichols and say, well that guy has a weight advantage over usian bolt in the 100m
It's typical of normal everyday people. A ton of my work colleagues always bang on about how hard they trained last night but when I'm in the gym I rarely see anyone genuinely pushing themselves to their limits. Most people half-ass or even quarter-ass their training. I guess this is the case with pro athletes too. And Heavyweights are the worst, they think they can just eat whatever they want because they don't have to make weight. At the end of the day if he can do 12 rounds it's not the end of the world. David Price was a lean and well-muscled boxer when he fought Tony the Tiger and ended up gassing quick.
Wilder could just hop, skip, jump, and dance around this fat ******* all night and throw out the jab if he wanted to. There's little reason for Wilder to take very much punishment with Stiverne in this condition.
I also don't understand how you can look like that being a full time athlete, I also wonder how he can go 12 rounds when a chiseled guy like Price can barely enter the ring before having to take a knee.
Stiverne actually is quite talented, but his lack of discipline really limited his potential. At 235 Stiverne had power, head movement, and footspeed. But, like you said if he can get paid to be a fat slob and hardly fight I seen why he doesn't bother staying in shape.
just pure awfulness. it's quite obvious he's not coming to this fight to win, which is an insult to all hungry young contenders who would kill to get a shot at a world title but no, not Stiverne. he was gifted a second world title shot (which he didn't deserve) and he doesnt even bother to get up for this fight. so uninspiring.
