Just based on pure hand speed alone, which of the 3 had the fastest hands you've seen on film? All 3 were lightning fast when they let their hands go, although there doesn't seem to have that much power behind those flurries.
I know Davis fought both Camacho and Taylor and although he looked a tad bit slower in speed in comparison when he fought them he was already past his best.He was just as fast when he was dedicated.
    Hard to pick one.

Camacho was the quickest at his peak, maybe because he was lighter, at light welter he wasn`t that quick at the lower weights his combos were awesome. Joe Calzaghe challenged Roy Jones to a hand speed test by throwing as many punches as they could at this machine at a specific set time period to see who could get the most in and Jones declined but I don`t know who would be the fastest boxer ever on this machine.

Many fighters are super fast, as long as they aren't getting hit back at the same time. That is why that "machine-test" is somewhat dubious.

Well I think it's a toss up between Taylor's combos and Camachos 1-2s

At 130 Camacho was the most incredible combination of foot hand and reaction timing I remember seeing

Howard was fast but I don't think he was in these twos speed class

Floyd Mayweather Sr was fast as any

Word in the boxing community at these times was that Davis Jr was the fastest fighter in boxing, then Camacho came along who edged him and then Taylor ended up edging Camacho.

I think Taylor's speed is a bit different to the other two. He's more of a volume puncher.

Peak Davis Jr and Camacho are incredibly fast. Insanely fast.

I would pick Davis, which is why Davis not winning a title was surprising.

I never thought of calzaghe as fast,he slapped loads of short punches and had a v high work rate but he was more a pressure fighter who overwhelmed u he was leagues below true speedsters....or even sharp long punchers like odlh were faster.

Hearns ,mosley, srl, jones jnr, gamboa at his peak. Were true speedsters.....

Out of the journeymen willie wise was v quick

Camacho at 130 had the fastest handspeed on full punches thrown from behind a guard that I've ever seen, although I can see how Taylor's flurries might appear more impressive.
