I think Lewis did fine against Justin Fortune, from the first second onward.
But it's only Justin Fortune, isn't it.

It looks like Lewis's style to me.

I agree with you guys. This is the type of style he'd employ. This is Lennox Lewis. It's a VERY GOOD STYLE to use against Frazier. It might win Lewis the fight.
I imagine the very best version of Frazier taking over after a few rounds though, Lewis tiring, and Frazier winning the fight with his pace in the middle and later rounds, possibly by late stoppage.

Frazier was one dimensional tho - Lewis can fight a variety of ways effectively. What's he going to do? They tried massive changes against Foreman in the rematch.

    Lewis isn't Foreman.
    There's very little stylistic similarity.

Yes but they are both huge (Lewis even bigger) men with enormous power. Lewis has showed numerous times he can get people out of there pronto.

Anyway it is all good, everyone has formed their own opinion and the poll is about done.

Sure. I just doubt Frazier would be someone he's likely to do so to. Even if he felt he needed to.

    Yes.
For me, probably Frazier, probably by decision, possibly late stoppage.
Same as on page 1, I think !

It`s interesting looking at Lewis`s career that he took some really good punches in certain fights where he respected his opponent. He took good shots from Holyfield, Tua, Mercer even a few from Morrison. I don't think Lennox chin was that weak. He could be hurt like anyone else. The key was that it was harder to get to his chin than a guy like Frazier.

His chin is average. If a puncher hits him square, it is all over

"Lewis also admitted there was a "possibility" he may retire now, but he said that he just wanted to enjoy the victory and rest for a few weeks.

He also revealed that he had broken his hand during the fight."

Different versions of Foreman (and Frazier for that matter).

His chin wasn't that weak. But it wasn't iron either. He knew this all to well. He made sure not to brawl with Tua as he knew his chin would betray him. What bothers me is when people say his chin was better than the likes of Frazier and Dempsey.

Well if the only reason Lewis beats Frazier is because he's bigger than Foreman what about Bob sapp? He's even bigger than Lennox Lewis isn't he?

This is the kind of simplistic basis of your logic isn't it? You are very certain about it too.

Here is another short fighter early in Lewis's career that offers some perspective of Lewis approaching that sized fighter.

I really can't believe this is even a serious debate to be honest. Lennox was a fine champion a week ATG imo but he beat a lot of top contenders that can't be denied. But the bloke didn't beat anyone anywhere near as good as 29 year old Muhammad Ali did he?? Frazier did and he wins hands down for me and anyone who understands boxing!
