Not surprised Molina was stopped by Breazeale, surprised it was one round faster than Wilder. Molina is a journey man at best and should have never changed for world title. AJ beat the boxing life out of him, and not he just collecting a check. Breazeale on the other hand is one tough SOB.
Haven't sell it yet, but thinking fans knew there'd be only one winner in that fight. Why do some of you believe stopping a fighter quicker than anyone else holds any weight ? Every fight is completely separate from every previous fight. Landing those shots a couple rounds quicker than a superior fighter doesn't mean anything. I've always liked breazale, very ugly style but he's as tough as they come so any positive for him males me happy for him. Need put up a better fight vs dw than Aj because Aj being so superior technically made it a disgusting mismatch vs Aj. He'll bet b beaten up bad vs Dw too but he'll be given possible chances to land if dw starts to push too much. Looking forward to Dw style tonight, hope he takes his time and breaks him down round by round then goes for the kill. Instead of looking for the career ending shot from round 1. Dw should work on taking his time and relaxing more, the shots will land. Nothing they can do about the straight right left hook, those are the shots that'll end any fighters night
Ashanti Jordan KO Molina in R1 Arreola KO Molina in R1 Joshua KO Molina in R3 Breazeale KO Molina in R8 Wilder KO Molina in R9 The official KO-meter Eric Lee Molina has spoken. Breazeale stops Wilder.
I like Breazeale and he shows up to fight. Breazeale has power if he can land but he is just slow. It is a damn shame how easy it was for Joshua to hit Breazeale. If Breazeale lands on Wilders egg chin he can win.
You can't compare the wins. Molina was 239lbs and in good shape when he fought Wilder. Molina was over 250 lbs tonight.
Wilder chose Molina because Molina had a tendency to goto sleep early. It just almost backfired when Molina had Wilder on chicken legs there for a minute when he landed that combo
This. Breazeale does have good power, but is slow even for a heavyweight. Breazeale needs to cut some weight. Mansour said Breazeale would be too slow for any of the champions and that Joshua was going to slaughter him. Wilder would toy with Breazeale before stopping him in the mid rounds. Parker would easily outbox Breazeale, who telegraphs too much or maybe even get the stoppage.
AFTER Wilder KO'd him a couple years ago. And Joshua KO'd him. Soooo, not really a big deal. Decent win for Breazeale in the deplorable division.
Wilder ruined a prime Molina. Wilder vs Molina was Wilder's "Buster Douglas" moment but Wilder didn't crack when someone fought back. Molina was a hungry lion in a berserker frenzy, attacking Wilder with such ferocity not seen since Douglas vanquished Tyson. Just as Molina was about to land the coup de grace and be revered alongside Douglas in boxing history, Wilder landed a monstrous right hand that would have koed Chuvalo, McCall and Mercer all at once .
Breazeale can't fight at all, if Haymon orders Breazeale to take a dive, he will......................he is not a threat. Haymon will not allow Breazeale to beat Wilder..................Breazeale makes a turtle look fast!
