I'm not overly keen on this fight as GSP has been out for so long. GSP V Spider Silver 5yrs ago would've been a mega fight

Yep that was the biggest fight the ufc could have ever put on but GSP never wanted it. He's only jumping up to middle now because the champ is so poor. He's trying to hand pick a middle title due to a very below average champ. I would much rather have seen him fight Woodley at 170 who has insane wrestling to match gsp and brutal ko power if he lands.

Can't count GSP out based on his stature in the sport. But there are so many variables against him. He was looking like he had lost a step while active, and took a lot of punishment over his last several fights. He was trending towards shopworn/shot, although still grinding out wins. 4 full years off is a long time. He's fighting at 185 against a guy who has been active, is bigger, and has been fighting relatively high class opponents who were full fledged 185'ers. It would be an outlier for him to come back after 4 years off, and beat a top of the heap fighter at a higher weight class, when he is 4 years older and was already trending towards "old" while active. Not sure what to expect.

I think Bisping just overwhelms and stops GSP with striking volume in the 1st or 2nd. Save for Dominick Cruz 4 years is just too much time to be out of the sport and rebound quickly (Cruz was only 29 when he made his comeback, Georges is 36). Georges also looks slower and bloated in the training footage I've seen while Bisping looks sharp and in top condition.

Well you know what they say - an ATG big guy usually beats an ATG small guy

Good thing GSP isn't fighting a big ATG then!

Bisping might have a bad eye and he marks up terribly.

GSP's getting mauled and stopped here. As someone in a previous post above said, GSP was past it 4 yrs ago when active at 170. Hes taking a hiding tonight I think
