Yeah this is one of the few great PPV's they've put on in the last couple of years. Everything else has either been so dull or average-solid at best that they just bleed together. They definitely needed this after a terrible 2017.

He is the greatest I think I agree with you there.

But Woodley right now isn't going to lose to GSP, I just don't see it.

It's actually a great matchup for GSP. He's bigger, stronger, far rangier and has the tdd to keep the fight where he wants it. He'd keep Woodley at the end of his jab and outstrike him just like he stablemate Macdonald did.

If he went down in weight and beat Woodley I wouldn't want anyone ever giving any name other than his as goat.

Joanna is a cornball glad she got ktfo. I don't understand people's fascination with her. At least she's better than Rousey though.

I think prime Anderson would have beaten him. I think GSP has the better stats and his style ages better. He may be the GOAT. It's between him, Anderson and Jones. I think all three are PED users, though. GSP didn't get caught but still. I think most were on juice anyway.

I noticed they played footage of Woodley at the end after Whitaker footage just in case he decides to move down.

I don't think who beats who is all that relavent when talking about the GOAT when they are in different weight classes. I too think Anderson in his prime would beat GSP. Jones would beat them both but that doesn't made Jones the GOAT. P4p it's GSP. I view it as between 4 fighters. GSP, Anderson, Jones and Fedor. For sure GSP gave himself a big boast tonight as he won his 20th fight in the UFC, tied with Bisping, his 13th consecutive win 2nd only to Anderson and he's the 4th fighter to win championships at two different weight divisions along with BJ, Henderson and McGregor.

I really don't see an upside for GSP fighting Whittaker, but l don't think a fight at 170 with McGregor would be all that competitive. No way McGregor would win that fight but they would hype it up as if he could, same as they did with Floyd.

This was a step in the right direction for the UFC... No more ****ing freakshows. McGregor should fight Ferguson next and no one else - that fight could still be massive. Then throw 2 other title fights like with 217.

    McGregor vs. Ferguson
Dillashaw vs. Garbrandt II or Johnson
    Miocic vs. Werdum II

Something like this would be awesome and generate incredible numbers.

Same could be said for nearly every female mma fighter except maybe Cyborg and Andrade who really are men anyway.

Yeah that's true but to get stopped in that nature at the highest level of WMMA 115? Pretty chinny relative to even these ladies.
