I was talking about Joshua. But as far as know, Povetkin is banned from WBC ranks and Ortiz, while I'd still love to see the fight, let's see if he'll still keep his ranking once they update it.

He knows AJ wants to unify all the belts, he has some bargaining power, he is marketable and a natural heal bad guy against AJ good guy persona. The fight will sell, has to be in UK though and no more than 30/70 split I think that would be a fair deal all round.

even though povetkin is banned by the wbc he still can offer him a fight without the title being on the line.

The reality here is wilder doesn't have any intention of fighting a top 10 fighter and his record proves this 40 fights and only 1 fighter has been a top 10 fighter that's shocking and he is not a star yet expects to call out Joshua?
I actually think he is all talk its one thing calling out fighters its anther actually stepping in the ring with them

You're being very stupid boxing_master, and are sounding insecure about a possible AJ/Wilder fight.

People want to see Joshua vs Wilder. It is THE heavyweight fight at the moment and both have belts, making it a unification fight as well. The biggest stumbling block in it taking place is Hearn.

Wilder wants 50-50 against Joshua that alone tells you he does not want it

He doesn't deserve even 10 percent

Wilder deserves no more than $3 million for fighting Joshua. FLAT FEE!

Why is Hearn so steadfast in defiance of Joshua getting in the ring with Wilder? Because it puts at risk by far Eddie's biggest income stream. Much safer to keep doing what he's doing. Wilder is the guy who has the power, and if he got lucky, could blow the house of cards down.

My gawd!. . . That is a stupid reason to delay a fight.. .(For that matter what did Rocky Marciano do?. . . .What did George Foreman do?. . . .what did Wladimir Klitschko do? . . . .stupid comment)

Give both a $10 million gurantee and the winner receives the profits.

He wants to fight Joshua . How can you begrudge him for wanting to fight the best in the division.. If you want to see him face a live body then you should be positive about the fight.
AJ blows him away right? Thats what you want , so what are you worried about?

I'm directing it more to the OP.

Id hoped modern day promoters would have learnt the lesson of Juan Manuel Lopez and Yuriorkis Gamboa.

Fights don't need to marinate, they just need to happen.

Of course he is as it's the biggest pay day he will ever get.

AJ gets mega paydays all the time while Wilder has one mega payday on the horizon and that's vs AJ.
