It is time people stopped swallowing excuses and demand this fight gets made.

They used Wembley for Joshua-Klitschko and Froch-Groves II.

Which of those was held in the summer?

Did fans decide not to show up because a football game was taking place?

The original order for the mando was dated 11th Jan 2017 and they expecting the fight to have already taken place 120 days after AJ-Wald. They pushed it back once so they could do the rematch, after that fell through they ordered the fight with Ortiz. They are already over-schedule, I'm not sure the WBA are going to bow to the needs of Hearn no matter how much he impresses them with his smile. When the WBA removed Ortiz from the top spot a few days ago, they are deciding what to do next. Its that simple.

Hearn and co can't plan anything, book stadiums, announce fights until the WBA announce their intentions for that mando, that's where that is. Its not going away until the WBA state otherwise. If you want the fight so badly, go complain on the WBA official forum, not this one.

This is hard because I'm trying to explain to a idiot. Wembley is owned by the English FA. They allow it to be rented for such as froch and aj fights as well as the football International games, even nfl games. Unfortunately for this fight early next year they can't rent it out except for events that were already in place, because Tottenham football club has a contract with the FA to rent it until the end of the football season.. MAY.
I'm not saying don't make the fight, I'm saying Wembley is not available until the summer

Fight can happen next as both schedules are free. But it won’t as they will want to build it up and create the expectation to max the revenue.

IF it happens next then Wilder HAS to travel as Joshua is the draw right now.

However, Wilder can flip the script if he takes out Parker next and grabs the WBO. Then it would be 50/50 and can take place anywhere and to the highest bidder.

Ortiz wasn't in the top spot a few days ago. You just made that up, too.

Look, you seem a little cloudy. So I'm going to help you out.

January 2017 was 11 months ago. The winner of Joshua-Klitschko didn't fight Ortiz. Ortiz signed to fight Rossy in April. That fight was cancelled when Ortiz hurt his thumb. Ortiz then decided to go after the WBC title. He signed to fight Wilder. He failed a drug test and was dropped from the WBC ratings and he was also banned by the WBA.

Last word from the WBA was Kubrat Pulev might fight Oquendo for the WBA 'regular' belt. But it hasn't even been worked out yet. So there is no WBA mandatory for Joshua on the horizon. He's the WBA "super" champ. He gets a year and a half between mandatories when there actually is one.

I know you read something 11 months ago. But it all went away about eight months ago.

    Sorry to wake you.

I don't need to complain to the WBA when they're not blocking the fight. They need a title eliminator first, and yet they don't even have that. Until they order a title eliminator, Joshua has more than enough time to have another fight in the mean time. I just saw in another thread that you claimed Miller(WBA #7) will become the mandatory if he beats Wach, and Wach isn't even in the top15 of the WBA. That's how uncertain the WBA scene at HW, It'll take some time before they determine a title eliminator.

You should take your own advice and go complain to the WBA official forum if you want AJ to have a WBA mandatory defence next so badly.

It isn't? What's being held there on Saturday, April 14, for instance?

No they can't when spurs are away unless it's something that was already done before the contract with spurs was made.
Believe me spurs are having to pay a lot of money to rent the ground, and unlike a indoor arena it would risk the playing surface. In addition to that it will be used just about every weekend in April and most of may as excluding spurs there will be 7 other games played there at that time

When did fans start giving a **** who makes more money, or who deserves the bigger purse, or cut in a fight? I thought this was a sport and as fans we are suppose to demand that the best fight the best, not ball ride a fighter because he says that he's the A- side and deserves more money. Let the promoters promote, and quit mimicking what your favorite fighter says for the reason he's ducking a fight. Quit giving these guys support for not making fights. Be a fan of the sport, and demand the big fights happen when they should, not 5 years later, or when one man gets old or beaten. Two men at the top of their game proving to the world who is the better man is what this sport is all about. They don't need cheerleaders, if that's what you wanna be, go put on your skirt and storm a football field.
