    From Twitter Sources.

the writing is on the wall, folks. Forget the Canelo/GGG rematch.

We know what's next for Golden Boy & Canelo!

Either Saunders or Leumiux can derail the Canelo train.

Golovkin should buy the ticket for the very next seat. That fight aint happening its obvious. Every time Canelo or Oscar has been asked about it they claim its what they want BUT. There is always a BUT. Cant see it being so difficult to make the rematch.

Sounds like a good night out for Canelo, free ringside seats to a world title fight. Hopefully the under card is good. No doubt he will have dinner at a nice restaurant in Montreal, he should have a good time, good for him, enjoy.

If I'm handling Canelo, I have him box the winner of this fight, snag that WBO trinket, then rematch Golovkin with every marble on the line in the second half of 2018. If Lemieux beats Billy Joe, that's a common opponent GGG and Canelo will share. If Billy Joe beats Lemieux, that's the guy Golovkin had his eyes on. Either scenario makes a tasty rematch marinade.

Man, Canelo is watching that clock like a hawk. Every second he can age GGG with is like pure gold :D

No, the OP. I think Charlie taught Wilder how to windmill.

I'd obviously rather have Canelo/Golovkin II straight away up next. However, the idea of Canelo vs. Saunders/Lemieux winner and Golovkin vs. Jacobs II plus the winners facing off in the same year would be pretty incredible as an alternative... Canelo would be fighting a guy that would be Golovkins' third or fourth best opponent faced. The problem is that Canelo might not rematch Golovkin in the next fight after and Golovkin might have to go back to fighting a fringe top 10 guy. So it is a bit sketchy. Canelo/Golovkin II needs to happen within 12 months of the first.
