"There is interest from the Joshua camp which is why we're talking to them now," Parker told the Herald. "He's my preferred option. Everyone wants to fight him but I honestly think in his last performance he didn't look the best.

"I didn't look the best in my last performance because of the style I had in front of me. I think his style matches mine perfectly and I honestly think I can knock him out."

The Video is worth a watch-

Parker has a decent shot! Let’s see if he can rise to the occasion and fight the best fight of his career. That’s what he’ll need.

the article states if true that parker was offered 20 percent of the purse to fight joshua

if true it means egos got in the way .

getting paid 5 times more than you have ever earned and with rematch clauses guaranteeing you maybe 10 times more if you won for me its a no brainer.
5 million minumum i would have thought with a chance to earn 10 million plus if he won

no one else in the division besides povetkin has any money backing them up
wilder pays his opponents 120k uk in voluntarys

but at 25 i can understand its more about ego than the money / when i was that age i might have thought the same .

Parker has a chin like Tua's, so don't count him out. I give Joshua the edge, but both Joshua and Parker would knock Wilder out!

Parker will pancake the big Pommie powder-puff.

The fearsome Kiwi will expose Anthony Toshua's soft English underbelly & fragile glass jaw.

Don't be surprised if gAy Jay relocates to another continent now that the Samoan sledgehammer has declared himself ready, willing & able to take the fight.

To be honest it would be a nice change if that happened. Gets abit repetitive seeing Brits constantly beat guys from down under.

There is a video of Hearn where he kinda says tongue in cheek "Well I never offered them just 20%, I don't know where this comes from. But you know what, yes let's start like that, I offer Parker 20%. Call me!" ... sounded like he's open minded about sweetening the deal if they can get the fight done.

I read another article where Higgins said Wilder made an offer but it was too low.

yea true is that we really dont kno .. maybe there all asking for to much. i did hear wilder wants to much money to fight aj .. so whos low balling who. its hard to say. wilder should not get more money then aj i kno that for sure. and i would be rooting for wilder to beat joshua .. but i dont kno what would happen in that fight. first to land a big shot prolly wins.

    It isn't.

Browne is Parker's back up plan if Parker-Joshua can't get made, and at present Hearn and Higgins are in discussion about Parker-Joshua.

Sounds good to me! Both fights will be big because Browne vs Parker would be very hyped on the other side of the world ( Australia , NZ )
