Old Foreman had a legendary run.
And he wasn’t really that far behind the top guys, having a really close fight with Holyfield, blasting Cooney away, the legendary Moorer KO, and other awesome performances as he was shedding the rust.

But a peak Marciano, a thunder bold with two cannon arms that is in seek and destroy mode every second, every round? This is just too much athleticism, explosiveness, mojo, whatever you want to call it. He would just overwhelm Foreman. Again, I think Foreman would have his moments, and would deliver some impressive punches throughout the fight, but his corner would stop it, or he would go down.

BULL SH*T! 30 years old Schkor had been kod in 1 minute and a half of the first round in his previous fight ,had won just 3 of his last 11 fights! Had a record of 30-18 -2 ,would have one more fight and retire! And he wasn't ranked!

I can't because there isn't one as I'm sure you are aware, however surely the 6'2 213 number 1 contender 9 fight winning streak joe Louis would be at least on par with Tommy Morrison

 

Louis was 37 years old his power was rusted in a scabbard of atrophied reflexes he was getting by with the remnants of his jab.Oh and he was 6'1.5" tall.No, he won't do either.

 

Listed as 6'2 on boxrec and still ranked higher than Tommy. I agree he's was well past his peak but he was still world class.

 

Listed and confirmed as 6'1.5 " in his own autobiography. Morrison would have ko'd that version of Louis.

 

In your opinion which of course your intitled to. Personally I think that version of the brown bomber does to Tommy what he did to Savold who was also a paper champion of sorts. Yes I know Savold was 37 and lighter than Morrison.

 

Savold had nothing to keep Louis off and he was 34lbs lighter.Savold was really not much more than journeyman at any stage of his career.

 

He had had a lot of fights that's for sure but I think he had only lost one of his last 10 or so with a disqualification loss also to woodcock who he beat back I think.

 

The Woodcock fights should be viewed with suspicion.Savold had won 6 of his last 12 fights going into the ,Louis fight he was basically washed up and would be forcibly retired after the Marciano fight.

A win over Joe Hipp won't cut it.

Michael bennt, Lennox Lewis and Ray Mercer put Tommy into perspective. The best he fought beat him. Bald George was not the best he fought. That's how come George was beat by Morrison. Tommy sat just below champ material. He beat bald George who really was not elite either.

Here’s joe Louis with Foreman and Norton. He’s at least the same size as them.

 

I think Mmarciano at his best would have been to much for a Foreman whos best days were behind him. Foreman would have thw longer reach but not much of an advantage besides his reach. And I dont know how much of an advantage it is considering everyone Marciano fought had a longer reach.

 

6 ko wins 3 points losses 2 draws and a disqualification dont sound as bad as all that.
