Looking through his record, I realize that I'm quite ignorant about so many of his early foes. I certainly don't hold the later years against this guy... He beat everyone, and paid his dues, during a long prime, or so it seems. Any thoughts? Just how good was he? The more I read, the more I like him. Thanks.
He lost and drew vs the best more often than not and never beat a Hall of Fame opponent...I think. The only film on him is when he's past his prime, but he looks pretty bad in that film.
