You're not getting the fact that Foreman, by this point, still had a ramrod for a jab. Which would keep Rock away from him, off balance, and frankly likely cut him. This isn't some average meh jab, Foreman jab hurt, and did damage. He could literally win this fight by sticking with the jab and cross all fight long. Literally.
