Can anything be done to build Wilder's profile in a short period of time?

If you did that you would have to tell him he cant be accusing anyone of DUCKING him bc they are only actors! He already has Eddie Hearn on that list too now....pretty soon the entire world will be ducking him .:sisi2:

I'd be on the phone to Vinnie Mac as well to stick him in a WM, knocking out the Big Show.
FMJ never did that just for the few million $$$'s, he's building his brand.

    What?
I think they should fight, AJ is also a name that would raise Wilders profile.

But beeing the severe B side Wilder just has to accept that it won't be anywhere near 50-50.

After winning the first, if he does, he'll be the A side.

I don't give even the slightest of shits about this whole A-side/B-side nonsense, Wilder is the US's biggest name HW, Wilder's belt and name is well known enough to merit 55/45 or 60/40, I hate to break it to you, but outside of Wilder, Fury and possibly Haye if he can redeem himself in the Bellew rematch, who the hell is AJ going to fight that will raise his profile? That are going to rake in the PPV bucks? Not a whole lot to choose from is there?

AJ isn't the one who's unknown. He puts people in seats, has a lot of followers on social media, is the face of a large brand etc.

He has also taken on the best and won by KO.

What do you think Wilder should do to raise his profile?

Absolutely nothing, this is box, AJ needs to quit acting like a f***** and get in the ring with him instead of making him run some contrived gauntlet to qualify himself for it.

    55/45 what u smoking?

AJ just filled a stadium of 80000 people fighting a total unknown fighter.

Wilder cannot generate 1/4 figures AJ I can gurantee. And hence the figures should represet that .

AJ may not be huge in America but he's big in UK and worldwide

I'm a fan of AJ, and I'm from the UK but I think this A-side/B-side crap should stop until there is 1 undisputed champion.
50/50 split but the PPV money from the Uk goes to Josh, US to Wilder. Both take home over $20 million, what's the problem.

Yep, I agree. I think both AJ and Wilder need to fight each other to generate mainstream press coverage for the sport as a whole. Wilder is a bird in the hand right now for AJ, a fight with someone who can raise his profile in the US and beyond. If Wilder fights Whyte and Whyte beats Wilder (or Wilder looks bad but sneaks a win) that bird has flown.

AJ/Whyte would be a big fight in the UK, but outside it no-one cares. I live in North East Asia which is a potentially huge future market for boxing - but the sport needs some really 'big' heavyweight fights to get into the mainstream media in China/SK/Japan. Wilder/AJ could do that. Something like Whyte/AJ has no chance.

AJ-Wlad got 1.5 Million buys in the UK, he's a megastar known the country over. And don't act like Wlad didn't have a little to do with that.

No one in the US knows who Wilder is, yet his match against Arreola drew 1.8 Million viewers, his match against Washington drew 1.8 Million, and his match against Duhaupas drew 2.2 Million.

AJ is the UK's biggest HW star, Wilder is the US's biggest HW star. Let's get this on 50/50.:deal:

Personally I don't give a damn what each guy gets, just get in the ****ing ring.
