Can anything be done to build Wilder's profile in a short period of time?

Of course we all want to see this fight. I think it will happen next year . Seems to be gaining traction

Just hope wilder is realistic with his split or it might stall.

AJ is known all over the UK, Ireland, Germany, Ukraine, Russia, Nigeria, Cameroon, and in 4-5 fights time the WHOLE WORLD will know his name, as he lays his vengeance upon thee.

Not bad for a guy with just 20 fights under his belt.

As for Wilder no one knows about him, no one cares about him, deny it all you like but AJ is creating heat and electricity everywhere he goes, the most exciting talent to hit HW boxing in 30 years.

Yeah fight someone relevant like let's say the cleared man that is Sasha
Purse for that fight was something like 30 mill after percentages him being champ and all I doubt fighting a j earns him more ?

The evidence would suggest if anyone is going to hold up this fight it is Wilder.

How you can insult AJ is beyond me, in his last two fights he has challenged himself more than Wilder has in 39 "pro" fights.

Then the idea of fighting Wilder shouldn't give him one iota of stress should it? He shouldn't have to make 100 rules and stipulations to fight him.... right? If its such an easy fight get in the ****ing ring and blast this "Ameribum? out of there in a round. If he KO's Wilder, oh well, it won't effect me all that much, he already KO'd my favorite HW, but for some strange reason he and Hearn don't seem enthusiastic in the least about fighting a fellow world champion, who's a "bum" and picking up an "easy" win and a title in the process. Which would bring him one step closer to being undisputed champ. AJ needs to get in the ring and stop acting like a *****.

I don't think fighting Dillian Whyte and koing him is going to make Wilder's stock increase that much at all. I don't think it's gonna add 100s of thousands more ppv buys if he does on sky sports box office. I'd think some casuals know more about Wilder than Takam and Molina from reading comments from the awful rag websites like the Daily Mail, The Sun,...etc...BBC posted an article today on Wilder so the hype is brewing anyway.

Wilder's not Wlad with the country of Germany behind him. Wilder is Wilder. He's never gonna garner much more attention than he's already gotten based on the current boxing climate and him being from the united states.

Hearn just wants to be a tight fisted ******* and should promise Wilder a contract in which he gets AJ after he fights Whyte. That's what Wilder seems to want and Hearn could not promise he would. Realistically AJ has Parker or David Haye if he wins and Hearn would rather make a Haye vs AJ or AJ vs Fury fight.

Wilder won't ever bring in PPV buys like a AJ vs Fury or AJ vs Haye. US market is hard to breakthrough.

If Wilder knocks out Whyte in a more brutal fashion than Joshua did, of course it'll increase the buy rate. US interest will gather force, as would the UK one. Wilder vs Whyte does over 1 million PPV's in the UK alone, no doubt about that.

You're already putting the blame on AJ, but this is business. You gotta get paid.

And I bet your bottom dollar it wont be Wilder's team putting an offer in front of AJ to make this fight happen, it will be the other way round, it will be left up to Matchroom to do all the running to make this fight happen, and it will be them who puts a contract in front of Wilder, but they're not stupid either, they're not going to sell themselves short, we all know who the A-Side is here, Wilder will get a good deal, but AJ should make more money, and Wilder needs to accept that.

I suspect Wilder will duck him though, and to be honest I don't blame him, there is a potential here that AJ could actually kill him in the ring.

Jesus ****ing Christ, what an insane post.

You suspect in the end Wilder will duck? AJ and Hearn have been laying the groundwork since Saturday literally building a case for their eventual ducking of Wilder.

Not sure if you've noticed, but the only guys KOing people cold here, is Wilder. AJ flurries after someone is stunned, prompting immediate British stoppage, ooooohhhhhh scaaaawwwweeyyyy.

1 million is a pretty farfetched number for Wilder vs Whyte PPV. Now if you said it was on the undercard of Joshua vs Parker then it sounds more reasonable.

I got the vibe Hearn wanted it on the undercard of Joshua vs Parker anyway.

Bellew vs Haye did over 1 million, this is on that level. The trash talking, and the AJ association sells this fight quite easily. AJ fanbase WILL buy this PPV.

    Sounds like a conspiracy theory.

Wilder is the best American HW at the moment. He wasn't going to be fed to anyone. His problem is he has a weak promotional team and an advisor who thinks he can promote everyone like Mayweather.

David Haye is a big name in british and european boxing. Bellew was a more well known name also. That fight had a lot of hype.

PPV model not ESPN and FOX. I think Hearn is too dismissive and a bit too arrogant on the US market considering the population difference.

I don't think a Wilder vs Whyte PPV does a million buys in the UK.

Wilder has been knocking out bums though whose 12 week training camps consist of stuffing their faces full of Big Macs. I am in better condition than Wilder's opponents. Just look at the difference in the conditioning of Wlad and Takam and compare that to Wilder's opponents. Yet AJ still knocked them all out. While Wilder couldn't even knock out Stiverne.

He's got a punchers chance and he knows it, that's why he REFUSES to challenge himself. He wont even face Dillan Whyte for goodness sake, and you think he will want to face AJ?

Like I say though, Wilder probably has family and friends who love him, so I wouldn't want to see him die in the ring, and I think he knows in his heart that if he gets in the ring with AJ it will be the last thing he ever does.
