And this is why AJ want Wilder to do alot more to sell their potential fight. If he loses his '0' he will want Wilder to earn it outside the ring not just in it..

All the "they need to fight now crew" just don't seem to realise that these guys do a pretty hard job and need to get paid for what it is worth...

This difference with AJ atm is he is earning far more fighting than the other two, they both need to step up to earn that fight, (out of the ring not in it).

I woudn't say it 'improves' the standing of boxing as a whole....Parker is a nobody in all honesty.

Only fury returning in the is 'good for boxing' in the immediate future.

Great fight, a unification between two unbeaten genuine champions, good money to be made and the winner is without any shadow of a doubt number one in the division.

To be fair to Parker I think he's already stepped up to build the fight, hence why he's first. He's already a PPV star in New Zealand and has been for some time. Problem Parker has is his home market is limited due to the small population in New Zealand but he is a star there unlike Wilder. The fact is the Parker fight won't get any bigger than it is now as they have maximised exposure in both their markets.

Parker as well has fought not only a Brit contender but did so in the UK. Parker has ticked all the boxes to secure this fight with AJ including fighting decent opposition.

The Wilder fight does need more building to maximise financial gain. Wilder unlike Parker isn't a PPV star in his home market, he hasn't maximised exposure and therefore they have not maximised the possible financial gain from an AJ/Wilder fight. Wilder still has work to do and KOing Stiverne simply won't do it.

But AJ will also need to grow his profile in the US, they both have some work to do, to make the kind of money needed to secure the purses required for both these men.

I like the AJ vs Parker fight

I think AJ adding another title might make negotiations with wilder even harder though

And wilder beating brezeale aint exactly something special

    the circus will continue

Actually I think this fight will probably be next.

Parker vs Browne was going to be announced yesterday but rumour has it that Hearn suddenly got on the phone and said he was willing to give Parker a larger share of the $$$ to make the Joshua fight instead.

The public are demanding Joshua fight top-class opposition next, he'll take tons of criticism if he fights a Whyte rematch or some other second-tier HW. The only acceptable fights are Wilder, Parker, and maybe Povetkin and Ortiz as well.

Parker is clearly the preferable choice out of the four as he has a belt, has fought in the UK, and has no doping problems to deal with. Clearly there is more money in Joshua vs Parker then Joshua vs Wilder than in the reverse order.
