Why would you not WANT your man to fight Dillian Whyte? In your eyes hes head and shoulders above every heavyweight out there, correct? Therefore he easily dispatches Whyte, correct? Which means there can only be positives from taking this fight, lets compare the positives and the negatives.

    Positives
    • Biggest Payday by Millions of Pounds
    • Increases UK fanbase and profile
    • Increases credit and respect within the minds of boxing fans
    • Makes more of a case for a 60-40 split with AJ (Theres no way in hell he deserves 60-40 right now.)
    • Adds a Top 10 fighter too his resume
    • Shuts up a loud mouth Brit
    • Get one over on Joshua and knock him out quicker to prove a point
    • Ranked #3 with the WBC so makes sense to fix this one up also

    Negatives
    • Risks being outed as a absolute fraud of a champion by getting beat but that obviously wont happen because hes such a big strong powerful unbeatable American warrior so there is nothing to worry about therefore giving this fight no negatives at all.

So for all the fans saying Joshua is ducking Wilder, the fight is clearly full of awkward negotiations about A side, location of fight etc, whats stopping your boy from taking this fight with Dillian Whyte in the mean time and making himself a fairly rich man from it whilst enhancing his reputation? Surely it makes sense to take this fight...

To me it looks like hes not willing to weigh up risk and reward and wants to just roll the dice with the Anthony Joshua fight and if he wins then he shoots to Boxing World stardom and if he loses then at least hes got a great load of cash to retire on at the end of his career.

Joshua vs Wilder isnt happening next no matter what so if i was Wilder id be pushing for that Whyte fight, but the sad thing is, he will probably push for a rank 10-15 fighter which kind of sums up why my opinion on him is very low right now

Now if anything ive said doesnt make sense or if ive missed out points on why Wilder v Whyte shouldnt happen next then let me know.

Your clearly not getting the Anthony Joshua fight next so why would you not be happy with Whyte as the next best thing..

Probably because they'd rather he face a more qualified opponent.

If he fights Whyte, it's more of the same. Still not a true top HW.

Not financially, Boxing is a business, Deontay Wilder is at the pinnacle of the sport, hes a World Champion, just dealt with his mandatory. Surely him and his team sit there and say right, lets look at getting a Top 5 fighter, okay, now lets look at who can generate the most money and hype, one name sticks out. Dillian Whyte. If you dont see Whyte as the best fight for Wilder outside of the champions then okay.

Your wasting your breath mate. The facts are there for the fans. Wilders comp says it all, so does his wages. I agree with your post totally..If he wasn't American, they would be (americans)pissing their pants at everything to do with him..

A more qualified opponent? You must be having a laugh surely, so all of sudden they want qualified opponents, look at his Boxing record please and tell me where the qualified opponents are? How are Wilder fans all of a sudden using this as a excuse lol? The same people who are giving him all the credit in the world for knocking out Stiverne are the same people saying Dillian Whyte isnt a credible opponent in todays heavyweight division..

Educated and knowledgeable fans turn in to dummies when Wilders concerned.

If I was Wilder, I'd take the Whyte fight...

As soon as Hearn contractually guarentees AJ is next should I beat Whyte.

Exactly. There are none. I would imagine, and hope, that they want him to step up just as much or more than those rooting for his demise. I guess I can't speak for them but when I root for a fighter, I'm rooting for them to take the best fights available.

The AJ v Deon fight won't happen next. I'd be very surprised if it did. So why not fight Whyte?

If he doesn't fight Dillian then I'd beintesrted to see who he fights instead. A worse opponent for anything less than around 4 million would raise serious questions from fans.

I think once everyone has calmed down Deon's team will realise this and the fight will get made. Whyte v Wilder in march.
