DeGale and Selby opponents down to 4 week camp?

Clearly they are struggling to find opponents.

They both have to fight someone ranked in the top 15 yes?

Hearn was right when he said he couldn't get degale a fight in Dec for the money he was asking.

I heard rumours of J-Leon Love for DeGale, doubt that happens now.

 

I'm not sure why Warren was so keen to do this tbh. Did he really need a Dec show with Degale and Selby fighting nobodies at the copperbox.

 

Warren is taking a risk IMO he has paid over the odds for December to try and build for huge PPV fights with Groves or Eubank for Degale and Warrinnton or Frampton for Selby.

If it works out and he can somehow sell out a stadium for Degale and have Selby-Warrington at Elland Road he'd make a profit for sure.

Risky strategy though because Degale hasn't signed a deal beyond December. Wouldn't surprise me if a Degale v Groves PPV rematch was promoted by Matchroom and Sauerland on Sky.

 

Sure I see Warren saying he was waiting on something from the IBF. Their rankings aren't great to be honest, I doubt either of them will be against names

 

if they have to be ibf top 15 for selby then warren has his work cut out, everyone has either just fought or has a fight scheduled apart from these 3...

Let’s be honest made Frank had paid over the odds to get DeGale and Selby to fight in the bill, it’s non ppv and not in big arena so can’t see there being budget for top opponents. Whilst he never stumped up money to get Flanagan a good opponent at lightweight, and Saunders has to go to Canada. Should have backed those two with money
