Gotta like Hearn, can’t think of any other promoters who are as transparent as this,no wonder guys like Jacobs are clambering for him,Hearn said one fight a year is not enough for Jacobs ect and he’s right, don’t agree with all of AJs fights being on PPV but at least the man delivers and doesn’t hold his guys back,I’ll bet Linares loves him for him for it lol
Because Miller, who has been fighting as long as Wilder, has had 20 fewer fights and is known for running away from Bermane Stiverne in a Florida gym, deserves it. Did Hearn ask two New Yorkers who Jarrell Miller was? $1,000 says nobody knew he was a boxer, and someone said: "Wasn't he a defensive tackle from Connecticut?"
And his account name after the fight. If you see a Blizz_Blizzie after the fight on here it might be him. This new poster will be a TC fan though, and will downplay Wilder as a hype job.
No, I'm NITPICKING because he was asked a direct question ... I'm disgusted because after 70,000 people said Wilder's name and the announcer asked him point blank about Wilder ... and he brings up his IBO mandatory. Name ONE TIME IN THE HISTORY of the heavyweight division when the IBO demanded someone fight a mandatory? Ever? This content is protected
Wilder doesn't have much fans , but they were the ones demanding the fight .... It was/is all the Joshua fans arguing why it shouldn't.
IBO was a mistake. Do you want to do 10 rounds with Takam and spell the alphabet backwards in front of a crowd of 80k and millions watching at home. Its just like Wilder screaming both of them don't have mandatories, even though team Wilder know about it already, as Ortiz was always due to face AJ, after Pulev.
You are nitpicking!! The guy was just reeling off the name of his belts, he probably didn't even mean to say IBO, it just came out in the moment. Look, if he delays a fight with a top contender because of an IBO mandatory, then I will eat my words, but it isn't going to happen, you know it and I know it. And in case you hadn't noticed it isn't AJ's resume that is full to the brim with road sweepers, plumbers, hobos and tomato cans. That honour belongs to Deontay. So if anyone hasn't challenged himself it isn't AJ. But haterz gonna hate!
All he had to do was say, "I want to fight him next." Those words never came out of his mouth. Instead, he was fumbling through every excuse he could come up with, and the first one out of his mouth was the IBO mandatory. I have to admit, my respect for him dropped with that reply. And I've been defending Joshua on here for years. But Hearn and Joshua are showing their true colors.
It’s absolutely the biggest heavyweight fight the division has at the moment. It sets the stage for the winner to fight Fury when he makes his return. Joshua/Parker seems to be next on the Joshua hit list so let’s hope the unexpected doesn’t happen and Parker somehow manages the upset.
