Absolutely not. I stand by my original comment, "I am not impressed with AJ beating a 40+ year old shot Wlad, coming of a loss to a fat slob".

But you're impressed by Windmills beating a fat slob of a Buffet king?

I don’t disagree, however it makes sense. They are bulging towards a showdown between Wilder and Joshua in the UK. Whyte is a Hearn promoted fighter and has a following in England that could help give Wilder some added exposure. Of course for Hearn it’s putting more food on his and his fighters plate which is what a good promoter does. For Wilder, it’s a business decision...He can parlay the Whyte fight into a big unification bount with Joshua.

He doesn’t have to take it but why wouldn’t he if he can kill two birds with one stone? All Wilder has to do is get Hearn to guarantee Joshua if he agrees to face Whyte early next year. Of course he has to win, but he shouldn’t have a problem getting past Dylan if he’s the fighter most believe him to be.

I'm impressed that fighters either take PEDs or make excuses to avoid fighting Wilder.

I'm also impressed with Wilder's speed and extraordinary power.

Yet you are not a fanboy?

You are more impressed with Wilder beating Stiverne, than the true number 1, the gypsy king beating an ATG heavyweight in Wlad?

Wilder looked good against Stiverne in his last fight.

The last fight Wilder actually looked good in before Stiverne two was....... the first Stiverne fight.

Maybe Wilder just looks good fighting Stiverne.

Honestly can't believe how thick most boxing fans are changing their opinion on one fight.

I see some arguments against Joshua facing Wilder and citing his resume as the reasoning, but most of what I’ve read is the members on these boards are OK with the fight taking place sometime next calendar year. I don’t see a problem with that. Hearn and Joshua have both made public statements saying that Deontay is on the list of opponents for 2018 so it would be hard to go back on their word without getting completely roasted by the fans.

I think teeing up the fight is smart for all parties involved because a fight of this magnitude needs special attention and a longer runway to promote it the right way. Everyone stands to make a lot of money especially if they can generate a demand that just isn’t there at this stage. For hardcore fight fans it’s the fight we want right away, but for the general population they have no idea who Deontay is. After his drubbing of Stiverne he has some hype that’s gaining momentum which can be used to help build the promotion 9 months out.

That is the one critcisim i have of Hearn a Written Agreement if Wilder beats Whyte he gets to fight AJ Next without discussing Numbers/Splits gets put into the Contract.I'm sure he can do something like that, clear it with the governing bodies who surely wont get in the way of the Biggest Heavyweight Fight since Vitali Klitschko v Lennox Lewis. But what i'm saying is why is Wilder so scared of Hearn and AJ double Crossing him,the demand of that fight will become unstoppable if Wilder knocks out Whyte in Impressive Fashion in front of a pro Whyte/AJ crowd. They wont be able to duck, the best thing they will be able to do is hope their is a Mandatory to delay it,but then the British Fans are not stupid i'm sure they will realise this. The Cards are with Hearn/AJ and they have played it to Wilder he needs to choose what route he goes down.

Now it's a fight of magnitude? I thought there were a half a dozen heavyweight fights that were bigger, that's why there was a delay?

I think Wilder just wants to prove he’s not just being dictated to. Since he’s a world champion, undefeated and has made an impact in the division, he just wants to be respected. That....and have a guarantee...just in case. A contract stipulating a Joshua fight is a LOT safer than taking Hearns word. I agree the demand will be there but the demand doesn’t hold up in court like a legal binding documents with Hearns signature. AJ and Hearn are definitely in the driver seat but Wilder has a place at the negotiation table since he’s the other half of the Joshua/Wilder unification bout

Yeah. Wilder fights are so dull. All those boring majority decisions. All those tedious 12-rounders. All those gift controversial decisions he gets. Yawn.

Were you impressed when a certain cinnamon avoided the fight with a certain MW for over a year with very similar excuses?
