He's pushing 30 and he's only 20-0. He won a gift decision in the Olympics (arguably two gift decisions) that were staged on his home turf. He got a a big TV contract after those gift decisions. They put him in with some 50 year old British names like Skelton. Other than a 40-something Wlad Klitschko, who hadn't won a fight IN YEARS, you couldn't name one TOP 10 heavyweight Joshua fought, either. (Enough garbage about TAKAM this and TAKAM that. Takam's big KO win came over a 50-year old Michael Grant. Takam could've even beat Mike Perez, who lost in a cruiserweight tournament last month.)

Tyson Fury beat Wlad Klitschko nearly two years earlier in a cakewalk. Joshua had to get off the floor and engage in war with an even older Klitschko, and you guys think he's better.

Joshua's being marketed like a Boy Band. And since the UK is where Boy Bands came from, it's not surprising you're all wetting your pants over him and his light shows and weak songs (I mean competition) like teenage girls.

Audley Harrison was once 19-0. And he actually won the Olympics. So some of you Brits need to pull real hard and get your heads out of your bungholes. Because this party of yours could end in a freaking heartbeat.

And you know that deep down, as does Hearn, which is why you are TERRIFIED of Joshua fighting Wilder. Because "Sugar" Wilder can end it with one goofy, awkwardly thrown right hand. (Which would kill you even more, because you know it could happen just like THAT!)

You have a Legit Point.Fellow Brits hype up Hatton as if he is some ATG,he is average and his Defeat to Pacquiao was one of the most Brutal Knockout i have ever seen,on a par with Khan and Prescott.I think it was because We were coming off an era with Lennox Lewis and Hamed why he was so hyped up and loved mainly because he was a white full blooded English Man which people will never admit.Bruno was again had the same Personality as Hatton where they weren't flashy and ****s Like Mayweather they used to seem like a person who you could have a drink with which is why we loved them so much.But Americans never Mention Lennox Lewis who was part of that Era,he wasn't as hyped up as much as Bruno because of his Canadian Links,but he still fought with the Union Jack behind him so i think he is definitely underrated because he beat your much loved Tyson,Rahman and Holyfield.But yes i do agree with you they are hyped up too much and Ability wise are Poor.Your Fighters deliver,Mayweather,Most Recently Spence,Gervonta,Garcia,Ward.You will always be no1 at Boxing,Las Vegas,Ali,Mayweather,SRL,Tyson,Rocky and HBO

 

Joshua is over-hyped and I'm sick of the hype too. Have been for years. The average Joshua fan knows little about boxing. I guess that's the result of being so well-known. He is a good fighter but I think Joshua will lose a lot sooner than these people realize.

But these people who are actually BELIEVING the Wilder camp bullsh!t about Joshua "ducking" must be the most simple-minded, child-minded idiot "fanboys" in boxing.

As Hearn and Joshua have pointed out - correctly ! - to be "ducking" you have to have received AN OFFER, an actual offer, an actual packaged proposition, a figure, a promotional plan. Something real, something concrete.
Instead, Hearn is being accused of ducking and being told he must produce the offer !

All this mental energy being expended over a fight that is not happening anytime soon. or may not ever happen considering how things can shift on a dime in this sport.

I do feel strongly adding that Wilder is looking at a huge U.K. payday and does seem to be the obstacle in this fight being made at least from a court of public opinion perspective. Sure it is a risk but that's what fighters should do: Take risks and then reap the rewards of basking in a successful outcome.
