Do you think Floyd would have travelled to the UK for the Hatton fight which would have been big numbers? Of course not. Floyd was the bigger more accomplished fighter.
You also seem to forget that there are far more active HWs in America than the UK. At present the USA has over 7 and a half times the amount of HWs fighting out of the USA than the UK so you would expect America to have more success but even with those numbers it has not the case at this time and hasnt been for a while now with L Lewis reign.
As for your comment about slaves. Are you not aware that many many British and Europeans were sold as slaves to North Africa? I believe it was Britain which abolished slavery
