That’s 2 fights. Let’s talk about the other 37! Well, you can’t blame him for taking his title shot, so that’s 3 fights. Still, it leaves 36 underwhelming fights. I honestly don’t care though, as he’s still one of the top heavyweights today.

I’m more interested in who he fights, should Joshua opt for Parker first.

The fight would still not be allowed to happen, he got popped. Not only that I would never fight someone who just popped. Thats like blaming lwbedev for not fighting Jones the second time. He has a daughter to go back to, a daughter with a disease

He had no problem taking punches from Stiverne in their first fight, does he not have power?

Do you agree povetkin was cleared by the wbc for the wilder fight? he had low traces of melly
it was the wbc fault for not knowing the rules.

Povetkin vs Wilder would of been a hell of a fight that would of been a huge step up for wilder

Yeah...I watch boxing, what does this have to do with anything? Are you suggesting Stiverne doesn't have power, it's a yes or no question.

he has decent power but did he land flush on wilder? they were glancing blows and even if he did wow wilder took a flush shot from a decent puncher

you remember wilder dancing around the ring by a Molina shot?

In fairness to Wilder i dont really think he could have thought the guys after they had been caught by VADA. He isnt qualified to know what drug/volume of it constitutes a threat. Hes clean and they werent so hes right not to take the fight even if it imoacts his resume

Because Wilder never faced any tough opponent? I know Stiverne was the bookies' favorite before the first fight, but the Ray Austin fight showed that Stiverne badly struggles against taller fighters, Wilder was a horrible match-up for him.

Yes, he TKOd a 41 year old washed up Austin because the old man gassed in the 10th round, but until that point Austin was leading on the scorecards and outboxing Stiverne. Bear in mind that Austin when he was in his prime was considered one of the worst title opponents of Wlad Klitschko, and got beaten by Sconiers and Levin prior to that. Yet Stiverne managed to struggle against this guy.

Btw. Anthony Joshua also TKOd Carlos Takam yet you constantly rip him for that performance, even though Takam is not a bum like the forementioned Austin. Once again you proved that you have no integrity.

Tyson Fury Goat and lewis gassed like this.

So because Wilder has never been KD by a hard puncher like Joshua was, a thread claiming Wilder would not get up from a punch like that is made to try to persuade us he wouldn't?

    Why?

Wilder was knocked down HARD by feather-fisted Harold Sconiers. Gabriel Montoya saw the fight live and wrote about it:

"Against Harold Sconiers, Wilder hit the deck hard after an uppercut from out of nowhere by Sconiers, who despite his 17-20-2 record could bang a little bit. Wilder took forever to recover and it was definitely a red flag. (...) Though on shaky legs, Wilder was able to stop Sconiers in four rounds."
