All time greats usually step up.

Oh actually they always step up.

When Wilder does that and wins lets talk.

    Until then **** off.

I was expecting this exact kind of response. I actually can't wait to be proven right. Believe me I actually do know **** about boxing. Wilder hasn't beat any great fighters yet but he will beat the best in his division. When it does come down to it Time will tell, will see what happens.

WIlder is nearly TEN YEARS into his career, and STILL hasn't faced anybody halfway decent. There's a reason for this. If you actually believe this joke could be an ATG you are either delusional or you've found some better crack than we used to smoke back in the 80s and 90s. Too bad I'm too old to try some!

You don't get rated highly on ATG lists if your entire career is one long bum roll from start to finish.

Great fighters are defined by the great fighters of the era that they face (win or lose).

AJ and Parker are above Wilder in terms of building a great legacy.

Wilder's already pretty old now and the wear and tear is starting to get to him, so whatever he's planning on doing to become this ATG fighter you think he is he's leaving it awfully late. He'd need to fight and KO Joshua at the bare minimum, then go on to clean out the division of Povetkin, Ortiz, Parker and maybe even Usyk if he moves up. He's already stated he won't ever fight Povetkin or Ortiz, and they're getting to the stage now where a win might be mitigated by their age, and Usyk might well stick around the CW division for a while longer so really it's Joshua and Parker that can give him the wins he needs. I don't think that's going to be enough frankly, unless he absolutely blows them away and makes it look easy. I think from past wins that that's highly unlikely.

That's not true. Holyfield was never the best of his era, not even #2, and alot of people put him in their top ten (about #17 for me). Wilder could be the Holyfield of his era, or if he pulls off the upset and beats AJ he could go way beyond that.

What you described him doing would rank him top ten all time. Jeez stop with the insane ladder, it's not historically consistent. Wilder will probably lose to AJ, but if he beats AJ, his ticket is punched to true ATG status, top 15 level at least, unless he craters after that.

You don't appreciate the 'sweet science' if you're a Wilder fan. You claim to love boxing as an art form - hit and don't get hit/it's not about KO's and all that jazz - then you get all frothy over a glass cannon like Wilder. You can't have it both ways you snozdangler.
