sakio bika gave calzaghe problems with his dirty moves and his just an amateur when it comes to dirty moves imagine what hopkins would do with his 'accidental' headbutts and low blows.

JC beats X and VW beats 'em both.

    It's not a styles thing..

    It's a skills thing.
Kessler has 'em. X and JC don't.

That people in this poll are favoring unheralded JOE CLAZAGHE over Bernard Hopkins is really nothing short of laughable.

The Calzaghe fanboys that emerged after Calzaghe whipped the overhyped Lacey is an aboslute marvel~

Hopkins just beat a superior fighter in Winky; the only difference in a fight with Calzaghe is that Joe don't make it to the final bell.

    Calzaghe is inexplicably overrated!!

Stop pointing at the Bika fights - Bika was a lot quicker than Hopkins would be and when Joe settled down and stopped trying to blast him out, he boxed very nicely and was 100% in control after that. Joe wouldn't be so reckless against Hopkins. I still think Hopkins has a good chance of winning this fight, but not for the reasons you've suggested.

People have to get real. Hopkins will be 43/44 by the time this fight is made. His last 2 wins were against a past it Tarver who was never anyhting more than a Clinton Woods level fighter and against as Winky who was at a ridiculous weight for his style of fight. Hopkins wins were impressive, but do they suggest he could beat an unshot Calzaghe. No, JC will not be physcially beaten by hin, he overpowered Lacy in the tight work,a nd he offers far more offensively than either tarver or Winky.

P4P it is a intriguing fight, but at this stage it is a straight forward powints win for JC, unless he is shot, if not he sets a pace that Hop can not function at and wins a clear decision.

Dawson, Kessler also beat hopkins at this stage, his age makes that an certainty.

i think it would be a great fight Calzaghe is class unlike what many of my fellow americans seem to think

but i also think hopkins would counter alot of joes combos and end up winning a tight MD

JC wins because of his superior stamina. If he fought Nard when they were the same age, I'd take X by UD.

    I'm sure there's a scientific formula here

    X43 + JC35 = JCUD12

    However if:

    X35 + JC27 = XUD12 or XTKO

The only constant being X - JC = 8 which as a consequential variable is mutually exclusive but coincidentally the round JC stops MK in.

Some people like you just never learn. :patsch :-(

Same ****i'n arguement with Winky outworking Bhops. What happened?

Common sense . . . you don't expect a 42 years old Bhops to be slugging with anybdoy at this point . . . do you realize that? Bhops will not stand and trade or commit he'll be running around and clinch once JC comes too close. In as much as I HATE IT, same **** will happen here. JC can't use his work rate against Bhops because he'll be punching all air al night.

    Bhops by decission.

Calzag. Too much handspeed and too late in BHOP's career. Calzag is bigger, faster, and more versatile than Winky. Totally different fight.

Calzag offsets Hopkins pretty much all night en route to a clear UD.
