ofc he will. isnt that how an agent/promoter should conduct his business? getting "the fight" the cheapest he can and selling it the best way he can for himself and the parties he represents?....
So you're using Ring Mag? Lmao. So Dlh's ranking system is legit now? You guys don't have anymore complaints now huh?. Cool stuff bro. I do understand why you wrote what you wrote in your parenthesis. I do not follow anything from Ring because of who they rank and how they've ranked guys in the past.
Nobody is drawing like Joshua in the UK. But why is Hearn talking about that? He's a promoter. He said no offer has been made yet wtf is he talking about then? The new clinger Joshua **** gobblers are now using is Wilder saying 50/50. He says 50/50 in the US, but he's willing to fight here or abroad and he knows that he won't get 50/50, and he knows that Joshua won't fight in the US. Joshua is reluctant, and until this fight is made he's Mr Reluctant in my book.
It doesn't matter where the fight is held Wilder should never be getting 50/50. You could hold it in Wilder's back yard and he still wouldn't deserve 50%
I used the Rings Annual ranking as well as the official ranking of the IBF, WBA and WBO. I make no comment about the Ring's legitimacy and I dont hold their rankings in a higher regard than those of the official organization - though all are bull**** at times - the only thing I was doing was looking at the rankings of those three seperate organizations and the one magazine to see if any of Wilder's opponent were ranked in the top 10 when they fought him. I did not use the WBC's rankings because I couldn't find them archived. I am not attempting to talk down Wilder or anything I am merely checking the facts as best I can.
What terrible logic... If i fought floyd mayweather in my garage, would I be entitled to a 50/50 split?
As a fan I don't care about the split, but I'm not the promotor or financial backer of the fight so I don't need to think about these things. Realistically, if Wilder insists on 50-50 then it's not going to happen unless he suddenly brings something worthwhile to the table to justify such expenditure. Thus far that isn't the case, so the numbers simply don't add up. That means that if the fight is to go ahead it needs major promotion to ensure that it can cover the costs to both fighters. If it can't then all involved stand to make a loss. The only other option is that Joshua needs to take a major pay-cut, which wouldn't really be logical if there are other easier options out there that could pay him more for less risk.
