Even Martin got over $8 million. No way would Wilder even entertain a fight with Joshua for anything less than $10 million and neither would Parker. But, considering they are the two top heavyweights 50-50 is fair.

One guy makes 20mill a purse, the other two make 1.5mill a purse.

One guy will bring in 90% of the revenue for the fight, yet apparently 50/50 is fair?

    Strong logic.

This, I honestly think that joshua's fans dont want this fight to happen. This fight is a coin flip, and they dont want to take the risks. Look at them asking Wilder for fighting Whyte, that's nonsense, Wilder should be fighting Joshua ASAP.

Doesn't matter what Joshua earns regularly. If Joshua wants all the belts and wants all the fights to happen in the U.K. he has to make the other champions offers that are worth taking. Anything less than 50-50 for Wilder isn't worth taking, since he's had his belt for the longest and is far less likely to face an upset than the talented, but very green Joshua.

Parker is much younger and less
established than Wilder so I can see him settling for 40-60, but I have a hard time seeing his team allowing anything less.

Wilder hasn't fought anyone in nearly 10 years of being a professional.

Trust me when I say this, there isn't a single Joshua fan who is concerned with him fighting Wilder.

You have no consistency you clown. After Canelo vacated the belt you justified his ducking by saying Golovkin is not a draw, he did not deserve the fight, Canelo didn't need him, GGG should have accepted the flat fee. Now when the tables are turned all of a sudden you play the advocate of the B-Side fighter simply because Wilder has the same nationality as you, showing everyone how much of a tribalist and a hypocrite you are.

What goes around comes around dummy: Wilder is not a draw, he doesn't deserve the payday against Joshua, he is a flat fee fighter nothing more. Wilder on his own would do worse PPV numbers than Terence Crawford did against Postol given the noname bums Wilder regularly fights.

Crazy. With arguments like this, anything is on the table. You can argue that Martin or other contenders shouldn't agree to fight Wilder for anything less than 50/50 with similar logic. It's just completely unhinged from reality.

AJ is levels above Wilder and Parker in both resume and drawing power. A normal defense earns them a fraction of what they'd make at 30% against AJ. They will likely never earn the amount they could make at 30% against AJ in their entire careers. And that's not to mention that if they actually beat AJ, they would immediately become vastly bigger draws, able to make multiples in future fights of what they had before. Of course it is worth their time to fight AJ at 30, it's just nuts to suggest otherwise.

Joshua was a challenger at the time, so he paid Martin huge money to bring the title to England.
Joshua team has admitted that they have overpaid most of his opponents. In a way, wilder has similar or less to what Martin has to offer. Martin for the first belt and wilder for the another.
You have a point, i soften my stance, Wilder deserves 8m but not a cent more
