    Seen. According to Pedro Diaz.

    Interesting!

Pedro also suggested that Loma has no power and that Nonito was the greater challenge back then than Loma is now.

Does anyone know what weight Lomachenko has been rehydrating to as a SFW? I seem to recall he rehydrated to the mid-130's for Salido.

Mother****ers i told you so! It wont matter if the fight is at 126 or 130 because Loma was going to be 140 at the most.
His average is about 138, i think he weighed in at 140 only once.

Bear in mind that there comes a certain comfort from not having to cut those extra 4lbs, my man. It isn't just about the rehydration.

I think Rigo's gonna shock Loma.

Also why I DESPERATELY wanted to see Pacquiao-Lomachenko. Assuming they fought at 140, Pac would have rehydrated to 144-146 and Loma would have been 142-144. Loma's taller, longer, younger, fresher, faster. Roach wanted it, but Loma said that he didn't want to beat up an old man.

Rehydration clauses only require a weigh in for the morning of the fight. A fighter can and still will be heavier that night upon entering the ring.

True but its not as big as people make it out to be. 12 pounds the right way, is not that hard to do.
But it does get interesting if Loma struggles with the 138. We have seen fighters suddenly outgrow weigh classes.

I'm not sure what SFW is, but Lomachenko was 139 against Sosa. I believe approximately the same in his last fight. So, 138 is his comfortable fighting weight.

SFW is super featherweight, friend. And I did suspect his unofficial weight couldn't be more than 140, so the clause is a moot point.

I thought most if not all of the rehydration took place after the weigh in? During fight day, the fighters are relaxed, staying limber, and eating small meals.

Nothing to see here really.. Lomachenko is in & around that on fight day anyway. Give or take a pound...

What I will say is smaller guys aren't necessarily always at a disadvantage.. Smaller target, more elusive, harder to hit.

Chris Byrd exploited this... Pac did sometimes too.

And? Rigo went up two weights to make this happen.
