Me too. But Miller / AJ will be a fun scrap while it lasts. I don't see Miller lasting as long as Takam, no way.

Not who I had hope AJ would fight next if I'm honest but if the others are out pricing themselves out of a fight this could be an entertaining if one sided affair and could help grow Joshua's profile in the US a little.

Miller has looked far too easy to hit in recent fights. If Washington and especially Wach had more power they could of been very different fights. So far we've only seen Miller's chin tested against weak to solid punchers. I suspect Joshua's power will suddenly see the man mountain Miller look less likely to stand and trade.

Joshua grinds him down stops him in the middle rounds.

This. Miller is tailor made for Joshua. Standing in front of Joshua and absorbing shots with no head movement is suicide. I don't care how fat Miller is he'll break if he takes too many direct shots against Joshua.

This is very disappointing if true. I was hoping for Wilder, or at least Parker.

I think Miller lasts longer than Wilder though.

Hearn and Joshua claim the aim is to unify all the belts in 2018. Yet so far they have made zero progress toward it.

Not a bad fight, but not ideal with two unifications to be had. Can't blame Hearn for looking at this option though with Wilder demanding 50% and Higgins demanding 40 (both wishfully thinking). Povetkin sure as hell isn't getting a voluntary this side of 40 years old and Ortiz (by hook or by crook) has flummoxed himself out of the equation, doesn't matter if he was on PEDs or in genuine need of blood pressure regulation he isn't getting a shot unless he's mandatory. Barring Pulev (take two); Miller is arguably the next best option.

That being said I don't really rate Miller to be honest, even though I think he's a top ten HW his skill level is lacking and his inability to throw a textbook punch that isn't telegraphed means he can't maximise the power that his 300lbs frame should be capable of. The only thing he really has going for him is good punch resistance, but with him being so static it's only a matter of time before Joshua cracks his chin. He doesn't have the defensive awareness or ability to slip punches that Takam showed.

I expect this to play out somewhat similarly to the Joshua/Whyte fight, Joshua wins most/all rounds en route to a mid rounds stoppage.

It takes 2 to tango and currently the other title holders seem to be pricing themselves out. Honestly it was always going to be tough to pull it off so quickly.

Wlad was never undisputed champion, mainly because his brother held the WBC belt. But even disregarding that belt it took him 5 years and 3 months to unify the other belts and that was with him offering the other belt holders 50/50 split.

Lewis took 2 years and 9 months from the time he won the WBC belt the 2nd time to become undisputed.

Tyson did it the fastest he beat Berbick, Smith and Tucker to become undisputed in just 9 months. But he gave Smith a 60/40 split and Tucker a 55/45 split to ensure those fights happened.

Joshua has had the belts for 1 year and 7 months, so for him to be undisputed by the end of 2018 means it would of taken him only 2 years and 8 months to do what Wlad and Lewis did and Joshua has the handicap of having to go for a total of 4 belts not 3. I wouldn't say he's made 0 progress he already has 2 of the major belts, but it's going to be a surprise if he gets both Wilder and Parker next year.

Miller would be a punching bag. I've seen several of Miller's fight. He has nothing but a decent chin. He is slow, easy to hit, bad technique, and hardly any ring IQ. I don't know how anyone says this is a good scrap.
