How was Wilder the sole cause of decline in HW boxing over the last 5 years ?

    I've just explained to you....

He refused to make any big fights in the division.

Haye refused to fight Fury twice. What has Haye done over the last 5 years ?? NOTHING
Wlad lost to Fury around the same time Wilder became champ.
Vitali dropped his belt rather than defend it against Stiverne. Wilder then beat Stiverne.

5 years ago WK was the lineal HW champ with all the belts and Wilder was a nobody who was just about to make his debut on Showtime.

You explained nothing to me. How did the HW division decline because of Wilder?

I couldn't care less about Wilder. I'm from the UK and will be supporting Joshua when they fight. Why don't YOU spell it out for him , because he obviously can't.

    Excuses again for Wilder!

4 years ago, Alexander Povetkin, despite having 2 less fights than Wilder, 'stepped up' and fought Wlad for 4 world titles.

Vitali, Wlad and Haye will all go down as ATG fighters.

Show them some respect....Supporting a 'ducker' over them.

So was it Wilder or the Klitschko's that were responsible for the decline in HW boxing? You said it was Wilder and now you're saying its the boring Klitschko's.. Which is it?

And Wlad vs Povetkin was one of the biggest disgraces the sport had ever seen and single handily caused the division irreparable damage. That fight caused such a decline in the division that Wlad was left defending his titles on Eurosport and Epix in the States. An unprecedented feat for a HW Champion.

No , Haye will never go down as an ATG. He was a nothing at HW. Over the last 5 years he fought 3 unrankers and he lost to one of them. What has he done for HW boxing over the last 5 years? Wilder pre belt comp was better than the non-rankers Haye fought on Dave.

You won't be able to back up your claim that Wilder has been the cause of decline in HW boxing over the last 5 years because its a stupid made-up statement.

Nobody wants to hear the opinion of a casual.

When you say "AJ shouldn't fight Wilder", It means you don't want to see the fight.

Parker is more deserving of a shot at AJ than Wilder.

plus when they say "AJ shouldnt fight Wilder" its normally in context with ....for such and such money, or in USA, or until he has fought Whyte. They arent saying just AJ shouldnt fight Wilder on its own. The context on info following that changes its meaning.

PS im in the camp of he should fight him, and I want them to fight.

Agreed, though I'd be happy to see either Wilder or Parker face AJ next. Miller is a sensible choice to grow AJ's brand in the US but honestly I can't see that fight being even remotely competitive, unless Miller possesses a chin like McCall or Mercer and can take Joshua late.

In regards to who and the order I'd like to see Joshua fight next it would be something like...

    Parker
    Wilder
    Povetkin
    Ortiz
Fury (he would be top but no way he gets in shape in time)
Haye (if he beats Bellew in the rematch)
